I see that Billy Marshall has parted company with Walton Casuals "by mutual agreement" apparently.
"There's the door son" ........... "Oh yes, I'll get me coat then boss" !
Also Scott Day has gone too and is apparently training with our first team.
According to Walton Casuals web site :-- The 28-year-old became an icon to supporters over his four seasons at the club, and marked his 150th and final appearance in Saturday’s FA Cup defeat at Westfields.
After joining from Farnborough in July 2013, Day went on to break the record of most appearances in a single Ryman League season. Also hitting double figures in his three full seasons, the box-to-box middle man jointly-scooped the Golden Boot award last year with 16 goals.
Named the 2014-15 Supporter’s Player and Player’s Player of the Year, Day also appeared in the club’s biggest ever Ryman League victory – netting in an 8-0 thrashing of Whitstable Town in October 2015.
The former captain leaves the club as the 16th all-time appearance holder, the most capped player in the squad prior to his exit, and 10th in the goalscoring charts with 39 goals.
