This is my first post on here. But Saturday's game will be a bit special for me. I was born in Tooting, lived and
went to school in Mitcham but have lived in Godalming for the last 25 years. I am the Godalming Branch of the T@M
Supporters' Club, although at least one Godalming supporter I know, who will be at the game on Saturday, was born and went to school in Mitcham. I have sponsored the game on Saturday so hope it will be a good one. The
Terrors are on a good run at the moment and I hope to be at East Grinstead on Tuesday but don't underestimate
Gods despite their lowly leagur position. There has been a change of manager and some new faces recently.
Paul Dale, Danny Bassett and Simmo all have Godalming contacts.

See that Gods have had three points deducted by the FA for fielding an ineligible player in the win
against Herne Bay ( one of only two league wins all season !). Not only the Terrors that are capable of this !
It means that they will be coming in to the game on Saturday bottom of tle table again.

Having sponsored this game , all my guests were impressed by the facilities and warm hospitality at T & M.
Thanks to Tim Marcus and all at the club.
With my Godalming hat on I thought the Gs deserved a point in their difficult fight to stay in the division.
With my Terrors hat on I was delighted with Billy's goal !

I suppose having hit the post, Godalming might feel that they deserved a point. And I suppose the defensive effort probably warranted one as well.
But like a lot of sports, the best teams often seem to get that stroke of luck when they need it. And this year's Tooting seem to have found a way of getting results whatever the scenario.
