Match Thread V's Whyteleafe

Only a " Fergie Time" last gasp equaliser from O'Neil at Carshalton on Monday earned the Terrors their first point from a possible 12, from the last four league games. With Dorking steadily pulling away from the field, the home game against Whyteleafe followed by another home games against Casuals on Monday  are  critical for Tooting to stay in the promotion/play-off places over the next few weeks.

The game at Colston Avenue was watched by a bumper crowd of 641, Tooting will do well to match this figure from both the 2 New Year Period games.

After a run without a win in 6 consecutive league games, the Leafe have turned their season around with an away win at Greenwich 1-0, followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Dorking, and a 3-0 victory at home to  Chipstead last Monday. The Leafe will be looking to  continue this impressive current good form at Imperial Fields. This will be a close fought match and the Terrors will have to  "Dig Deep" to halt their recent poor run of form.

Tooting are hoping to  include recent full back signing  George Philbeam from Greenwich Borough, to  bolster the defence. However, a 90 minute all round improvement is required to keep up the pressure, in their bid to  hang on to their second place league position.

Re: Match Thread V's Whyteleafe

Hi all, my name is Ryan and I run a YouTube channel called NonLeagueTV and we film non-league games and upload the highlights to YouTube. We will be attending the game tomorrow and we will be filming the game. We will be in the press box during the match if you want to say hello or if you have any questions. I am hoping to get the highlights up by tomorrow evening/Sunday morning.

I have been to Tooting and Mitcham many times and it is a lovely club and I cant wait to film the game. I am a Sutton United fan and I have nothing against Tooting and Mitcham and I will be hoping to film a few more games this season.

See you all tomorrow.

It's very warming when someone says they have "nothing against your club". It gives you a warm glow inside does it not? Happy New Year.

Ha Ha. Hi Ryan, I'm glad you don't have anything against us. I hope you have a good day and I'll look forward to watching the highlights later, hopefully a Terrors win.

Shame you didn't turn up Ryan - your reserved place in the press box area was empty all game !

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left !
