Afternoon all,
So last night whilst having a few drinks in my local pub I was talking to a few fans of different teams within the ryman league (well 2 whyteleafe fans, 1 Dulwich fan a Burgess Hill fan and a director of three bridges) the topic of the ryman league came up in particular the ryman south.
As we all know the standard of this league is poor the majority of teams in this division have no ambition of getting out of this league or even 'giving it a go'so the topic of 'would you move to the 'southern league' or evo stik as it's now called.
Interesting the director said he move to the southern league in a drop of a hat. The leafe supporters did say they would consider it and the Dulwich fan said probably not.
In my response was I would be happy to look at the possibility but if we won the league or promoted via the playoffs and we sustained ourselves in the Premier Division then I would be happy staying in the ryman set up.
What do you lot reckon?

No f### that Chez, for a feeling of familiarity and also keeping with the local area I couldn't do it. Though I have been tempted with ideas of non league voyages to other parts (I texted Fretters with the idea of visiting Bamoussa Cisse at Derby based Mickelover Sports, and also to see Paul Vines at Thamesmead Town - in typical Fretters fashion I'm still awaiting a reply on those) , I don't think the Tooting faithful would venture far, though I have thought of the merits of looking up obscure bits and bobs and the sense of adventure is very exciting!!!!
Love the obscure stuff - why pay through the nose at big grounds when you can go to somewhere like Walton? Love the obscurity
