Very much so by the looks of things.....a nice 2-1 I see (on Football Web Pages) courtesy of Danny "another round in over here" Bassett and Mike "Brookside" Dixon. More interesting is the 0-0 that Dorking and Horsham seems to be.......no less than six postponements though, which clouds the water a little bit.....

Blimey! 4-1! Lovely. Horsham have got one in over Dorking too
Also watching with interest the Corinthian-Casuals and Cray game (currenty 1-1). I am trying to get a picture of how next Saturday down at Hayes Lane could go. Very rare event - I have next Sat and Sun off (!) so all I need is permission from 'er indoors' and it'll be Plumpy time in Bromley

Well done lads - lovely bit of 5-2 and well done Horsham for the 2-0 against Dorking! Well pleased!
Plus permission granted from Mrs. Plumpton so hoping there's a good few ales on show next Sat too : )

5-2 final score. Played well enough without really hitting top gear. A little sloppy at the back but looked comfortable even at 2-1, although I would say they caused us more trouble than I would have liked and created quite a few chances. I felt we were always in control though.
Our keeper had another assured performance. Mike Dixon good again. Man of the match for me was Claudio Hoban. Thought he was unplayable on the left wing. Good team performance and nice to see dorking lose again.

We weren't at our most fluent. Some of our build up play was a bit slow. But when we moved forward quickly we were very impressive.
Five great goals. The first, from Bassett, was all down to a barnstorming run and excellent cross by Hoban. Number two was from Dixon who did well to move at pace onto a clever pass by Bassett. The third was a quite brilliant overhead kick from Dixon after a bit of keepy uppy. Number four was an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net from Cunningham on the edge of the box. And the fifth was a tap in by debutant Mazzone after another great run by Hoban.
A few negatives. Two sloppy goals conceded. And yet another silly booking for O'Neill. But tremendous entertainment overall.
Praise for the programme too. Full of interesting and lively reading. Well done DeePee and co.

Thanks from the programme team Mr Tartan - or can I call you Jock ?
More good stuff to come.
Cheers again, it's really appreciated.

Another good result without us being at our best, especially in the first half where East Grinstead gave us quite a few problems, many of them self inflicted with us constantly giving the ball away from the back. I went in at half time quite worried about the way the game might go in the second half.
2 early goals after the break calmed the nerves on and off the pitch and we looked far more dominant whilst East Grinstead lost belief in themselves and in the end it was an easy 3 points.
Some good performances as well, for me Cunningham had his best game so far and is having an increasing influence on the team, Basset is also looking good as a wide right player and Hoban caused them problems all game but I would like him to do far less on the ball and get his head up a bit more.

And try to use his right foot occasionally - but it is good to see him back!

Does anyone know the extent of Mike Dixon's injury?

Just to follow from our win on Saturday and remaining top of the table - tomorrow night could be an interesting one, with Dorking, Greenwich Borough and Hythe Town all playing on their catch up game. Admittedly, we will still keep our lead whatever happens, but we want the lead extended a bit - especially with the Greenwich Borough home game Saturday week. I know it's a Tooting forum, but for tomorrow night: Come on Chipstead!!! Come on South Park!!! Come on Guernsey!!!
