Well, a bit of interesting reading this afternoon.......
First disappointment was seeing the home walkover in the Barkingside v Harrow Borough game. I was really banking on Dulwich Hamlet facing Harrow Borough (both Ryman Premier) so we didn't have to go to Champion Hill. Only thing was when Dulwich were away to Harrow on the 22/11 they won 2-0.
If we win tonight vs Erith & Belvedere, and Dulwich win against Barkingside, then it will be a quarter-final game at Dulwich. Fingers crossed Barkingside do something amazing
However, the nature of the London FA site and it's target dates, and late/no info on the Ryman site/club sites make it hard to fathom when the games will take place - if they haven't already (I'm pretty sure they haven't though).........spotted that a few miles down the road this evening, a local derby of a LSC game is taking place at King George's Fields - Corinthian-Casuals are hosts to AFC Wimbledon.
Also, Hendon are out already, being beaten 1-0 by Met Police at (presumably) Imber Court......a change of fortunes for Hendon at that location.
According to London FA our ref is Neil Davies, which the internet shows as a chap who has been linesman (sorry, assistant) at 10 Championship league games this season, and various appearances at League 1, 2 and cup games. Would this be the same person? Also looking at 'The Dere's' site, it seems they are looking to recruit not only a team secretary, but also a commercial manager, so suggesting less than smooth times at Park View Road.
Hoping T&M stay focused tonight - though playing a SCEFL (formerly Kent league) team, I do recall us bowing out in the competition to another SCEFL team in recent history.....ok, it's looking likely a visit to Champion Hill could be on the cards afterwards (where I am certain they will want revenge for the last time we met in the LSC) but the focus on tonight is of the utmost importance........

Well, goals at 6 and 22 minutes for The Terrors are providing much entertainment at Imperial Fields. Much discussion of a possible trip to Champion Hill but there's tonight's business to look after first.......

Finished 4-0, I'm sure you all know that, but I was too sloshed to update that night (memories of sitting with Fretters, Statto and Shymon while waiting for a 164 bus).......

I see on the Ryman site the eagerly awaited Dulwich v Barkingside game is on Tuesday 24th January.
Wonder if the Essex Senior can topple the Ryman Premier

Now, not on the Ryman site - this is the same day T&M are playing Knaphill in the Surrey Senior Cup (as are Dorking, playing Sutton Common Rovers).....
Good job I checked the Combined Counties site, was toying with the idea of Spelthorne Sports v Badshot Lea but stumbled across the Tooting fixture. Hopefully I'll be able to head down to Imperial Fields for that.
Currently, Barkingside are exactly mid table - 11th place - in the Essex Senior League. The form for the last few games is D-D-W-L, quite a notable 6-0 win against Wadham Lodge (!) and a 4-3 defeat against old groundshare pals Redbridge, I imagine that would have been quite gripping
Dulwich's recent league form is L-W-D-W, no massive scores but a notable 1-0 defeat from everyone's old friends at Canvey Island. Unfortunately, I'm still not massively hopeful for Barkingside to do a demolition job but it would be nice. Very nice indeed, especially with the Crickefield ground in Ilford being about 10 mins from Plumpyville

Ok, I know I am dragging this thread back from a while - but for general awareness of the LSC (and who we play in the next bit), DHFC and Ryman sites now reporting the Dulwich v Barkingside game for 19:45, next Tuesday (7th Feb).........
Now, looking at our Knaphill game last night, I'm hoping that a step 5 team can pull out a trick or two next week. I would very much like a jaunt to the Cricklefields...........
