Worthing v Terrors

Experienced Terrors drew 2-2 today against a youthful and energetic Worthing side several places below us but with a far better home record than all those around them..

We scored first when a good pass was slid diagonally across and forward to Sol who finished well.
We then gifted them a soft equaliser when the defense seemed to completely miss a midfielder (who only joined the club this week!) breaking down the left hand side.
But Worthing felt so bad about this they gifted Sol an even softer chance that he gratefully crashed in to the net.

His celebration was understandably enthusiastic - running along the line of zebra clad presing flesh.
But no shirt was removed. And his actions did not spark a pitch invasion by the 10-15 fans involved.
Yet the ref felt it necessary to have a lengthy chat as they returned to the half way line.
More excessive PC madness.   Grrrrrrrrrr

What would Craig and Adam do to ensure the win?
Fresh legs up front with Craig Watlkins and/or Max Noble?
Strengthen the midfiield with skipper Quarm?
They looked in to the dephs of the dug out but could see only Gee and Simpson, neither of which have been involved with the 1st team recently, and keeper Cheadle.
Where were the other 2 subs?  Where were those senior players?
Hmm, questions those who spent money travelling to Worthing might also ask.

Oh yes, an equaliser was duly scored by their best and perhaps youngest player from full back.

Worthing also hit the post twice while I am not sure we offered much more than the two shots Sol scored with.  (Feel free to correct me please)

Re: Worthing v Terrors

Well, there was a blinding Harry Knock volley shortly after half time when the score was still 2-1, which the keeper got down well for, and turned it round the post.  But after that, the only action the behind-the-goal crowd saw was some tumbleweed blowing across the Worthing goal mouth.

Re: Worthing v Terrors

He should have brought on Fabian Secon-Smith-the young winger from Bromley FC but he wasnt even in the squad apparently.
