Blimey that's fast!  Thanks, I'll have a look now, this is good for the 'man flu' sufferers who couldn't make it today

EDIT: I particularly like the bit at 09:15, the usual suspects down on the pitch afterwards.........

Well they should not be on the pitch so the footage shows who those people are. But I got home in 30 mins so I was able to edit quickly. I had over 200 clips to edit and it only took me an hour.

Can you please post the tackle / assault  on Danny  the number 7 of Tooting by the Greenwich number 6 ?

Dont think we have the footage of that. If it was the red card incident then yes we did have it but we have deleted all of the footage now as we dont need it. Anyway we dont upload single incidents, highlights and vlogs only.

Re: Tooting and Mitcham 1 vs 0 Greenwich Borough F.C. Highlights

Sadly that assault on Danny Bassett was somewhat pivotal for the game. You managed to keep and show footage of the stretcher leaving the pitch but not the actual incident itself - strange
However, good to see that in-spite of what my spies tell me was a match constant tirade of assault and battery by the Borough "thugs", the terrors got through to give them the spanking they deserved. Down to 9 men and they still couldn't win !
GREAT !!

Dave, it was not nice to watch at times, as the Greenwich thugs set about our players with the referee seemingly happy to let them do it. How the thug that "did" Danny only got a yellow is beyond belief.

However, I must say how impressed that I was that our boys did not rise to the bait but kept on with the improvised game plan and gave Greenwich what they deserved!

My throat is only just recovering from the polite protests that I was making to the Greenwich players and the referee.

Very happy today. Thanks NonLeagueTV for managing to catch the game on camera. I have watched it about 3 times now

Not strange at all, we didnt get the challenge on camera. Please dont be rude about it or anything. We did our best for the highlights and nearly made myself ill yesterday.

Sorry, but I fail to see where "rude" comes in to it ?? Just an observation.

Re: Tooting and Mitcham 1 vs 0 Greenwich Borough F.C. Highlights

I do not know if you intend to cover all areas of the Ryman league but one game i can recommend is when we play Dorking Wanderers at their place on Saturday April 22nd.. A truly picturesque position at the bottom of Box Hill, nice club run by nice people and unlike Greenwhich, play the game like us, as it should be played and do no try to kick and abuse players.
I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Once again thank you for the coverage on Saturday, you have made a lot of "Terrors" fans very very happy.

Go to a Ryman North game - you'll probably boost the attendance by 5% single handed

In all seriousness, I actually boosted an attendance by 4% single handed - Ryman North again (Redbridge v Erith & Belvedere, attendance 26.  Would have been 25 if I hadn't turned up.....4% at the Plumpy school of maths).......Thursday 20th March 2014.  The month before I went to another bumper game, Erith & Belvedere v Burnham Ramblers - attendance 39

Ok, having a watch now - I'll tell you the truth Ryan, I have an interest in videoing and editing too, but being a very busy Plumpton of recent years means I can't devote much time to this.  The first thing that struck me was you have a blue bedroom!  This is very handy as (you're probably aware already) there's various editing packages which let you do 'blue screen' or 'green screen' meaning you can place backdrops of your choice behind you (as long as you're not wearing blue or green - as appropriate).  I have Adobe Premiere Elements (few years old now) which can do this but I'm sure more recent applications can do better

I did wonder though how we did the 360 degree circle of the room - but I came to realise it was the way you were telling the story and keeping active during it.  As a project for the future, maybe put a bit of blue screen in and a few pictures/captions in to get things building up on the intro - this is not a dig at what you've done - just a suggestion from someone else that likes videos and editing

Loved cutting to the in car shots (in places I know very well!), and yes, I think the way you were walking down the road, cutting to the moving feet and the Sutton United sign works very well.  Also I like the way you edited the score predictions onto the mascots being clapped......you (anyone) have to be careful with zooming in and out, so one to consider for the future but the edit into this bit worked very well.  Also your camera must record sound very well, with that many people shouting it's hard to get good audio, but you've recorded it crisply.

All I'll say on that point, is next time you video Tooting, don't go the stand or press box - come with us lot behind the goal!  You'll record much of the atmosphere us Terrors have.  Looking at your video, Tooting doesn't get the attendances Sutton gets, but if you're filming with the Tooting faithful you'll get good chants/banter/atmosphere.

The more I watch your Sutton volg I prefer this over the Tooting video - instead of being filmed from high up this is filmed with the fans - where the emotion and feeling happens.  I have far more feeling (of actually being in the ground, with the action) watching this video than watching the Tooting one.  And I love the use of 'I Just Can't Get Enough' as a chant - I've used this myself for the last couple of years as a LSC Tooting chant!  Thumbs up from me

Why are you lot chanting "small team in London".....?  No, no team is small if that's what you do.  Tooting & Mitcham is not exactly Man United or Chelsea but to me they are the footballing world, and the world as you see it is everything to you.  Even if playing someone like Leeds, give it to them - it's home turf!  I regularly comment on here (and amongst friends at T&M) that the LSC is the best competition in the world - well to me, it is.  Local level, places you know, people you know.  That's better than me turning up to a Premier League match and I don't know anyone, and they don't know me

Anyway - the end of match - nobody can argue with - there's no right or wrong way to film in this instance - let the emotion flow and again it's been captured.  You have summed up in that video, what it was like for a Tooting fan that day we went on to the pitch after winning in the 2007/2008 play off vs Cray Wanderers.  Captured it beautifully.

So, a couple of Plumpy pointers, on games, if you can, when you edit bits out, put a caption (or an 'Aston' as TV people say) saying where we are in the game - and also if you can't get all of the game, instead of scraping for bits of film to make a long production, just make a short film of something notable.  One instance of this from myself was a Worthing game a few years ago.  I missed a couple of goals, but I did happen to catch a hat-trick from former Terror Carl Wilson-Denis (admittedly I used to call him 'The Donkey').  Anyhow I decided to use his goals alone as a short film on the day and here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14JtaRdZ95A

The Astons I used to signify the minutes were in bold Gill Sans font - a nod to the Carlton TV style used when I was growing up (I'm old enough to remember Thames TV - oh no)........

And also, never feel pressured to do editing.  Only edit and publish stuff you are happy with - not because you think you have an audience waiting.  I was amazed you published the T&M game so fast - but never think of that, edit, review and piece together what you want in your own time - it's YOUR production

Thanks Ryan and keep up the good work, we need non league recorded as much as we can.  I just wish cameraphones/cameras were as prevalent 20 odd years ago, we would have pure gold for others to see

Re: Tooting and Mitcham 1 vs 0 Greenwich Borough F.C. Highlights

Nobody seems to have mentioned the penalty shout on 8:00.  Cast Iron if you ask me, but presumably the ref didn't think so from his unhindered view about 10 yards away.
