A couple of new players
We've signed controversial midfielder Kevin McLaren who was recently released from Hendon. I don't recommend that you google him as it doesn't make great reading!
Also someone called Dan Clemence who has been playing "Oop North" Perhaps its better to google this player!

Errrmm.....yes......that's not quite what I was expecting. Mind you, Frank and Paul seem to know what they're doing (I think)........

And Taurean Roberts has been released. Strange one really, because in my view he was one of the key players in our 10 game unbeaten start to the season. But since he lost his starting place, he hasn't really looked the part when coming on as sub etc.
Surely there must be a manager out there who can harness his skills into a much more effective player.

Just to clarify guys - South London Press have misquoted/misinterpreted what they were told by Frank - the club has not signed Kevin MacLaren - yet - albeit positive discussions are taking place with the following permission being given by Hendon to approach him. Any news of signings will be published on the Official TMUFC Facebook page and Twitter account first

Is it right that Billy Dunn has rejoined the club? Just been reading Gary Alexander the Greenwich boss saying that's is the case.

Attacker rejoins Tooting & Mitcham
"The club can confirm that Billy Dunn has left the Borough in order to re-join Tooting & Mitcham.The attacker joined from the league leaders in December and scored three times for the Borough, a brace against Clapton FC and a league goal against Cray Wanderers on Boxing Day.We wish Billy all the best for his future career and thank him for his efforts."

If that is true, the only reason I can think of is losing Danny Basset for some time. Credit to Frank and Paul for acting swiftly and I suppose if he carries on where he left off, there will not be too many complaints from us supporters.

I don't get the impression this was Frank and Paul chasing Billy to come back Alan, although the door was left open. The impetus came from the other direction.
And Billy will not replace the energy and work rate of the much missed Danny B.
But if it means we score 8 goals rather than 4 in all the remaining fixtures then good business.

That is what I understand too Bondy, he was sniffing around at the most recent home game on the Saturday prior to when we played Greenwich.
I also heard that Steve Adkins had a phone call from him but he was told, no thank you, but this was told in the bar after a couple of beers.
