Hi guys,
An old supporter here now living in Spain but still shouting on about the good of the semi-professional game, and in particularly TMUFC. Been watching the scores since I left several years ago, but what is happening this season is something quite special.Last week before the Lewes game I was trying to work out what would be enough points to WIN the league, would 5 home wins (15) and 8 (8) draws away, so 23 points onto the 74 that we already had, making 97 points, would that be enough? I wasn’t sure, Dorking Wanderers will not go awayRoll on 7 days, excellent away wins at Lewes and Cray are matched by Dorking who match our good wins with success at Chatham and Lewes. So there I am sitting indoors watching the Rugby (Scotland V Wales) with the computer ready for “Live Scores” on the Ryman Website. So off we go, 13 mins Dorking one up, 17 min Hastings one up, 19 mins, at last some good news, Carshalton one down. I wait in anticipation for some movement from the tele printer to tell me that TMUFC have bagged a goal, but nothing. By now I’m on to Sky Sports with Jeff Stelling telling me that Swansea have equalised at Chelsea, (good) and at half time Dorking are now 2 up, Hastings have been pegged back to 1-1, Greenwich are leading 1-0 and Carshalton have reduced their arrears to 1-2.Off we go for the second half, bash 49 mins Hastings take a 2-1 lead, bloody Frannie Collin again, and 2 minutes later Dorking seal their win with a third goal, and Greenwich knock in a second to go 2-0 up. But the tele printer is inactive with news from Godalming. Goals everywhere, Lewes and Three Bridges are running riot, NO! Carshalton have equalised at South Park, everything is going wrong, THEN 76 mins Chatham equalise at Hastings, a smile finally reaches the lips, at almost the same time South Park edge in front again 3-2 against Carshalton, AND THEN it appears 78 mins Godalming 0 TOOTING 1 Peter Wedgewood, yes, and a fist pump.We get told that the attendance at Godalming is 175, but I’m thinking are we holding on against the bottom club, or are we pushing forward looking for a second. Dulwich bang in an equaliser in their FA Trophy tie against Macclesfield, and then 88 mins, YES! Godalming 0 TOOTING 2 Jack Mazzone. Finally I can relax. But before I can move of the settee, Mazzone bangs in a third, and my night out on a “Tapas Run” a glorified pub crawl around our small Spanish town is going to taste much sweeter.I was going to say I don’t know what is harder, watching the game live, or through looking at a screen with modern technology, guys I can tell you, it’s the later of the two.Enjoy the rest of the season, I may be many miles away but I will be kicking every ball with you all. And oh! How many points will win the title, 5 home wins (15) and 5 away draws (5) another 20 points I think will be enough. And check out next Saturdays fixtures, 6 off the top 8 clubs are playing each other, the two teams off are us, home to Chipstead and Hastings with a tough away fixture at the ever improving Ramsgate. And of course these two meet the following week at the Pilot Field.

I know exactly how you feel.
Just spent two weeks in Tenerife. Followed the three matches - Sittingbourne, Lewes and Cray through Roger Ramone and the Ryman League Live Scores. Refused to leave the hotel while these three matches were on. Got very excited when the goals went in at Lewes and was told to be a little bit quiet by the family.
Came home Friday night to freezing temperatures. Spoke to Paul Dale before the game saying that I hoped I wouldn't upset the form book by my presence. Should have been awarded a penalty in the first five minutes when Chace was fouled going through on goal and then we hit the post. As the game progressed and we're well into the second half and still haven't scored I'm doing some very serious soul searching. Then came Peter's fabulous free kick and two late goals and all is right with the world. Keep supporting from afar. This team is well worth following.

Hi Valencian
You pretty much sum my every T&MU match day here in Dubai. Live Ryman scores on my iPhone. Real nerve wracking stuff just sat unmoving for almost two hours staring at the phone. I even sit there watching half time to finish.
This weekend was particularly bad as the first goal came so late. 'C'mon Tooting...c'mon Tooting..!' How many times do I say that on my own each game? At least watching the game there is something or someone to shout at not just my stupid self!
Here's hoping.

I was also following the game on line yesterday and it was getting VERY stressful as the time ticked away. I was assuming that we were knocking on the door, but we could equally have been having an off day and not creating chances.
There was a lot of relief when I saw Wedgeworth's name pop up! I was trying to imagine how he got into a scoring position - did he break into the box from the left or was he up for a corner. I did not think that he might have smashed it in from a free kick.
Has he ever taken one before?
Great to see everyone really contributing in the big moments. Even when the D-stroyers aren't scoring, there is someone else stepping up. The right back against Cray and now the left back against Godalming.
Has Quincy scored yet? Maybe Saturday!
