Dave Irons will be taking bookings for Ramsgate coach at Cray Wndrs match this coming Saturday. He will need a £5.00 deposit off of anyone wanting to go . The coach is already over half full so don't delay. The fares still to be determined when Dave has sussed out the ratio between adults, over 60,s, kids, members & non-members but it will still be very reasonable.

If Stan The Man is driving there's an excellent chance that it will Johna, just be outside your apartment at the alloted time mate.

I remember Stan driving back from a night game at Bromley, a straightforward journey you would imagine, but no, we went via Beckenham, Anerley, Penge, Sydenham, Crystal Palace, West Norwood, South Norwood, a couple of places in South London I'd never even heard of, Thornton Heath, Norbury, Pollards Hill and arrived back in Mitcham just as the sun was coming up. Saying that, a Cricket Green Conservation Area sunrise takes some beating

Just 4 places left on the club coach to Ramsgate - book your seat NOW with Dave Irons (see him on Saturday) to avoid disappointment !

Avoid the stress of bank holiday traffic and possible railway problems !!

Re: Coach to Ramsgate. Saturday 15th April 2017

Due to some late cancellations there are 6 places left on the coach. If you want to book a place and don't have Dave Irons number you can book via this Forum.

Apparently the coach WILL be leaving on time. That'll be a first.

I'm guessing it'll be back at T&M about 19.30....is there a plan afterwards, or is everyone going their own way on return?  May be able to sneak out in the evening, I imagine in the event of a win, a few people will be up for staying out and about.......

Did it?

According to my Google Maps you should be the other side of Sevenoaks, but as this is a T&M trip anything could happen.....

I hope the landlords of the St Lawrence and the Australia have the sandwiches ready.....

Coach trip - crates of Special Brew, bottles of whisky, a collection of two litre Irn Bru bottles, 7.5% import Guinness, crates of K's Cider, Buckfast and for the discerning one, Stones Ginger Wine......a recipe for a great day out at the coast (which nobody will remember)

Well, no it didn't. It was going to but left at 11:15 as we waited for some inconsiderate person who had booked a seat and didn't bother to turn up....... or let anybody know that he wouldn't be.
Bad form. Locked room, loaded revolver behaviour !

Oh.

What time did you make it down there in the end?  With the budget holidays abroad these days, was a Bank Holiday journey to the coast as slow as they used to be?  Guessing Boggs didn't have to seek salvation by the way of a petrol station off licence this time.........?
