Re: FA Cup draw

Looks like our cup luck has deserted us a bit there!

Re: FA Cup draw

Have faith men, they may be strong at set pieces but they'll never have experienced anything like we're about to throw at them from dead balls.......in fact nobody has.

Re: FA Cup draw

At least we did better this year, than the last four years!

Re: FA Cup draw

BS will be hot favourites for sure, but its not a fait accompli.  If you use the analogy of the Championship and League 2, compared to Conference South and Ryman South and look at our respective league positions, you would get Birmingham v Tranmere!  Not exactly a guaranteed home win.

Re: FA Cup draw

I really do not understand how a person can be writing our chances off already. The cup is a competition renowned for upsets, and on the day anything is possible.
Where is the spirit of 59, looked what nearly happened then.
Anything is possible if you believe, yes I know that on paper we should not have a chance, but on the day if we play to our full potential, and they have an off day, and if you look at their league position and the games lost, they are not exactly unbeatable, then we have a fighting chance.
I for one will be going looking for a positive result and I hope the team will as well.

Have faith!

Re: FA Cup draw

Well done 59er and Alan.
We will be pitching up to support our team with the hope they might be able to nick something.
Despite the obvious gulf between leagues plenty of quality in our side.
I would prefer to at least start the game with my glass full, even if it springs a leak very quickly.

Re: FA Cup draw

My 1st post, so please bear with me-I set up tonight's programme, so had to check Whitstable's website, as Isthmian league site said they lost 4-0 to Hythe in the cup, but BBC said they won-I now see they are listed in the draw above @ Ebbsfleet-is it me?

Re: FA Cup draw

Hythe definitely won 4-0 and will play Ebbsfleet next.

Re: FA Cup draw

According to the Bishops Stortford website, we have lost just once in our last 8 games! If only that was true.
A good reminder on their site. Last year they played Northampton in the cup as it was shown live on ITV.

Yeah I remember them days.
You are breading a fine young fan mate. Love it! Better than that Arsenal rubbish you used to be involved in.

Ha Ha....... It's cheaper as well.
Anthony loves the club mate and I'm glad he does
