    Margate getting an artificial pitch for this season

    I don't know how many of these pitches are in our league, but the number is growing.  It will be a sad day when the last grass pitch is finally torn up, but that day IS coming.  And as someone who has been against 3G pitches, I have to admit that when we have played on these pitches, I haven't really noticed much difference, and actually forget that we have been playing on plastic.  And from what I can gather, there seems to be very little in the way of negative comments from clubs who have installed these pitches.

    So maybe its time I changed my mind and accept the inevitable.
