I am optimistic that we can get at least 7 points in the games leading up to the game against Leatherhead on New Years Day ! Weather permitting. Anyone agree with me ?

Thanks alanj, just angst that the few games I have managed to attend have been the drubbings against Staines and Margate !!! See Worthing picked up three points yesterday, grhhhh mItcham. tooting,mitcham, tooting etc etc

Following your team can be a frustrating experience, but one we would not change no matter what.
Not wishing to be controversial Steptoe but have you thought about when coming to see a game, that you support the opposition and so reverse the sequence!
Just a thought!

Lol alanj. Could try that tactic against the Dulwits on Boxing day but my dear old Dad would turn in his grave if he was looking down at the match and I cheered Dulwits 5th goal against us !!!!! Ofcourse this will not happen and the Terrors will play their game of this season , a three nil home win I predict !!!

Well I got two of my wishes.
Our quality of play was first class and whilst not getting all three points, although we well deserved to, at least we came away with one, so as far I am concerned Santa Claus is alive and well and living in Tooting!

Like the positivity Steptoe.
The performance is up there with several that they have provided this season, but mostly away, so we, and they know what they are capable of, it is just a matter of providing some consistency.

I must admit "optimistic" is the word that sprang to mind when first reading your posting on the 8th.
But now, who knows.
Merry Christmas, and who knows, you might get your wish!
May is suggest a few extra carrots and a large brandy be left out this evening, not as bribe of course!

Some good football from both sides at times against the Dulwits. Fair result although the opportunities we had in the first half would have paid dividends for the rest of the game. Pity about their second goal !!! Still one more chance to get three points against Merstham and we would have got SEVEN points before the Leatherhead away game as I had optimistically predicted. Get in there !!!
