On a day when we had to go for it Frank pulled sweet FA out of the hat. The same lame display. The game was over in 43 seconds, even then I could see no coming back.

It's time to do the right thing and leave Frank.

what a tame effort that was,2 forwards this time both of which were totally useless same old crap lots of
huffing and puffing without ever looking like scoring,but lets be honest it should never have come down to this last game plenty of time to have put it right earlier but nothing was done.
team not good enough,manager not good enough got what we deserved that was relegation.hope you now have the honesty to resign now frank.

Could somebody explain to me that although the players had been off the pitch for approaching ten minutes, Frank and his staff were still to be seen talking on the pitch by the dugout.
Considering what he, and we had just witnessed, you would have thought he would have been the first in the dressing room ready to outline the [plan for the second half.
Did he not appreciate what this game meant for the club and the supporters, or did he just not care.
At the end only a very few players came over to show their appreciation for the support, but I am afraid that when Frank came over I could not shake his hand but just walked away, numb.
How could I shake the hand of the man who had, through his own stubbornness in never admitting that perhaps a change of either personnel, or tactics, were required, had just taken my team back down to where we had only just recently returned from.
For those supporters who were blaming "lack of funds" for our poor season, I was told again by somebody else that Steve had asked Frank, within earshot of others, does he require more players and was told no.
Stubborn, stupid, or both?

Wedgie and Quincy both came across the Gary and me at the end to thank us for our support and we could see that they were both very upset.

How Frank had the nerve to go across and shake hands with the fans after the dross that he orchestrated is beyond me. Shake his hand? You must be having a laugh.

Just goes to show Ev. the man knows no shame and possibly in his mind will convince himself it was not his fault!
Look in the mirror Frank and you will see the culprit.
They were two of I think possibly, half a dozen who came over, and are two of the few players who i hope are retained for next season.

This was my 25th season supporting the Terrors. Normally, I would normally look upon a landmark season as a memorable one!!!!

Not on this occasion 😩😩😩

Feel utterly desolate at the moment!!!!!

Like the rest of us buddy, I still find it hard to believe. But we can not say we did not see it coming.
But being positive let us see what the close season brings us in the way of a change of personnel.

A decision needs to be made sooner rather than later, with regards the manager.

Does anyone have any contact with the owner?It is important to know who the manager will be and start sorting a squad.look for a couple of forwards.Where as nearly all the players signed up for this season I don't think many will be rushing to join again.

I'm confused Casey.
Why is it vital for you to know who the new manager will be? (Assuming there is to be a new manager!)
And why do you need to know about seeking out new players?
I assume you are not the owner.
And that you don't have a financial interest in the club.
Or have you been appointed by the owner to be part of any interview panel? No?

The 2017:18 season is not even over yet.
The contracts/registrations of the management team and players surely run until the play offs are over.

So we must all sit back, suffer our pain, squirm as the Dullwits progress through the play offs and wait patiently for those who have the power to make the decisions.

Please dont be confused.I am not the owner,i dont work for club.I don’t mean today,but If we are to have new manager or maybe not,that person would need time to think about who he would want.Its no good leaving it to July.Do tooting ever have any plans or do we just stumble along?

in answer to bondys post,because after the disasterous season we have all just witnessed i think we should
have some clarity from the owner as to just where this club is going,and as casey says not leave us all in the dark until perhaps the summer months.
if new management and players are to be souced we need to start now never mind waiting to after the play
offs,if we had shown a little urgency in football matters we might have perhaps saved ourselves from the
humiliation of relegation.
as for any suggestion that frank might still be the manager next season ,well you must be having a laugh!!!!

If Steve Adkins is planning to give Frank the boot, then it should be done straight away. Absolutely no point in waiting another day.

From experience, we know that there will be a lot of interest in our manager's job, but most will not have a track record of success in that division. Someone who has proved that he can win the league is Frank Wilson.

I know he can't really be defended after the season just gone, but last year he was King Midas.

But that was with Paul, Endo.
We none of us know what really goes on behind the scenes, but personally, considering Pauls track record in football against Frank`s, I feel he should take most of the praise for last season.

I don't want to say anything against Paul Dale because he did fantastically well with us. But he didn't weave much magic at the start of this season with no wins in the first 10 games. Also, if you want to look at stats, Whyteleafe spent the first couple of months of the season in the top 4, but after Paul joined, they ended up 8th. So you can't just say Paul Dale was the magic panacea. Maybe they were a good partnership, but I don't think its right to say that Paul Dale won us the league last season.

Don’t you really think that Steve, as an established businessman, already has all this under consideration?
He will have decided long ago if he wishes to appoint a new management team or enter into discussions about a renewal of contracts. And the budget he would be prepared to subsidise - at whichever level we ended up at.

But this is nothing that we, as supporters, have anything to do with. Our contribution is a pittance when set against the overall costs.

As for players, remember what happens season after season.
Players are reckoned to be staying and even take part in pre season but then move on having held out for better deals.
You are in a dream world if you think a player will sign a registration form for next season in May.

Squads that take part in pre season matches bear little resemblance to what starts the season.
Players are released by higher level clubs just before the season starts when they finalise their squads and filter down to where we are to be snapped up. And that will will be even more the case because we are a level lower.

As painful and frustrating as it is, sit back and be patient. We will all be told in due course.

I was not implying that Paul won us the league, like yourself Endo, I feel it was a joint effort., but I get the impression, his input in that first season was greater, prior to his arrival we had just been beaten at home by Chatham whereas after that, well the rest is history.
I am not implying that with Paul joining Frank would solve our problems, but I do feel a more seasoned manager would.
I think the start of this season was a big wake up call to everyone, especially Frank and Paul, and yes we did struggle at the very beginning, not surprisingly.
But I can still not understand the reason given for Paul leaving us to join Whyteleaf.
I have a theory that perhaps Paul,seeing how much work was needed on the team to be able to complete at that level, felt that he did not want that on his CV and with the possibility of no funds forthcoming, felt in order to keep his reputation intact, the need to take up the option of Whyteleaf, who, if my memory serves me right had six of the first team depart with their manager who went to "K`s", so it was not surprising results suffered.
