Spot on...assuming National South/North are the highest level entering the competition at this stage.

Terrible draw. At least a decent away trip. Heard good things about their ground.

Re: Woking Away - FA CUP

Doubtful if Woking will field their strongest team. Their main interest is getting straight back into the National League so they are unlikely to risk  their key players picking up injuries. Terrors will have nothing much to lose and just a chance of the best result of the round..

Re: Woking Away - FA CUP

It's a free swing. Nobody will expect us to get anything from the game.....apart from a good hiding. Even if they put 8 past us nobody will bat an eyelid. Like Mike said, they'll probably play a weakened side (which will most likely still be too strong) but we've nothing to lose and everything to gain.

* Sorry, I should've said "nobody outside of Imperial Fields will bat an eyelid"

Re: Woking Away - FA CUP

Bit of wishful thinking to imagine that they won't put their strongest XI out!  There is 9 grand at stake in this game and also, I think Woking probably have a realistic chance of getting to the 1st round, so I don't think they will be taking any chances with little ol' Tooting!

But we beat Bishops Stortford a couple of years ago...

Yes it was Ashtree, and his brother Harvey made one of his very rare appearances in goal that night too. I remember seeing Harvey when the final whistle went and he was beside himself with joy, bent over at the waist double fist pumping the air. I think the only person in the ground happier than him was ME Easily the highlight of the Craig Tanner era.

I'm looking forward to the game, especially after our tenants beat them today.
