Up to 6th

4 straight away wins - today was against the top of the league. Probably a bit early to say that we have turned the corner, but we have certainly learned how to win a game.

Whether the manager has altered his tactics or whether the players are getting used to the formation etc I don't know. Perhaps it is the recent signings.

But either way, the players and management deserve a bit of credit for getting out of the bottom end of the table and into the playoff battle.

Let's hope we can continue the winning at home as well.

Re: Up to 6th

Hopefully "endo", we have turned the corner, every game since the second half at Egham has been better than the previous one, prior to "Egham" we saw glimpses of the football we are now watching, culminating in today`s decisive victory, our passing and movement today was way above anything the home side had to offer, all they could do was loft high balls in the air which "Simmo" especially found easy to deal with, I do not think he missed a single one. Both "Abbey" full backs had to resort to persistently fouling our two wide men as they could not handle them.
My personal opinion is, the reason for the improvement is playing four at the back in place of the three at the start of the season, and the addition of both "Antonio" and "Colman" to the defence, both offering something that had been missing earlier in the season, "Colman`s" no nonsense approach to defending and "Simmo`s heading ability as I mentioned earlier.
All of this is coupled with the teams belief in themselves and our management team`s way they set us up to play.
Hopefully now a bit of consistency can also creep into the teams game and everybody will be happy.
