Long time fan Stefan has requested I post his message to me with his thoughts on the Marlow game
Only one shot on their goal for the full 90 minutes. Surely, that performance today can’t continue, can it ?
Surely our manager can’t survive, can he ? Surely, our supporters are not going to put up with that
performance ?
Surely our manager is clutching at straws in believing his squad of players are up to the job in this division ?
Well, if he continues, we are going down because I have seen nothing for us to stay up so far this season. Our manager, messing about with a board and a load of counters is not the answer, in trying to save thegame today. I have said enough.
Everybody knows what needs to happen, but it will not happen, because nobodycares enough to make it happen and that comes from the top down. And until we start playing attractive football with a fresh attitude, the fans will continue to disappearand can you really blame them to what we saw today ?

Having watched some of the Sky documentary, I wonder how many players are playing for Tooting and how many are playing for the scouts? Good to see players reaching potential and moving up the leagues but I'm thinking does the team/results suffer as they are pitty patting the ball around? The back passing garbage is absolutely soul destroying.

I can't even remember their keeper having to make one single save in the whole 90 minutes, thats two league games on the trot that we have not troubled the opposition goalkeeper, an improvement in the final third is definitely required if we are going to climb up the league table All in all quite an even game possession wise, Marlow seemed a bit more composed on the ball and they had too much knowhow for us to cause them problems. I didn't get a clear view of the sending off incident but it seemed a bit harsh, but I think the pattern of the game had been set by then, and things didn't change too much in the second half even being a man down. No case to be made for us to have deserved anything from this, in my opinion, and already our position in the league table is starting to look familiar.

This manager needs to go and pronto nothing is going to change under him the fella is absolutely clueless
he also doesant have much backbone or he would have offered his resignation a long time ago.
Do the right thing Ashley and go.

Andy Mc - Any idea why Enoch and Dahdouh weren't playing yesterday? Also, was Daly still league suspended?
The SLIBAW blog said the manager is 'talking' to Billy Brown - would love to have him back...and a regular goalscorer.

Andy P- I'm probably the wrong person to be asking those behind the scenes type of questions. I'm the more, turn up on the day, drink too much beer, watch the game, type of fan, lol

Andy from what ive been told Billy Brown is a lad that likes to enjoy his break from football you know enjoy the holidays and think about football when it comes round again and good luck to him.
Billy when he is playing is wholehearted and a great asset to the team but to be fair i wouldant blame him one little bit if he gave tooting a miss this season ashley dont know how to use him anyway.

Andy Mc - That sounds like a 100% spot on philiosophy to me
Daniel - Agree sadly re: Billy. Gives absolute commitment when he plays and runs and runs (and has a fantastic shot he needs to use more often). Think getting him back might be another pipe dream.
Still, when we win 5-0 in Guernsey today...all will be OK
