With great news that Ashley has stepped down as first team manager. I am still concerned that Tooting will be used as a vehicle to give away youth players to pro clubs for free. Because of the dysfunctional way we have no club owned catering or bar takens. It's vital for the clubs growth that Tooting and not the employees of Tooting and Mitcham benefit from any further youth sales. If Ashley and his coaching staff are to stay this is very important.
Tooting and Mitcham pay Ashley to recruit players and coach them and should be the only benefactor.
Also use this season to get interest from local businesses. Charge £200 plus the cost of boards on the side of the pitch. Give away 2 season tickets and fill the side of the pitch with advertising.
Yes we are down next season but there is only way this club can go with its great supporters. Upwards and onwards. Tora Tora Tora ! as the Japanese say!
