    RIP Billy a great player and manager.

    I'm sure every true tooting supporter regardless of their views of the club can use this post and thread to show our love for Billy. Condolences go out to his family

    It only feels like yesterday I was walking our dogs over Beddington Park with Bill and is cocker spinel.
    He was a great football coach but most importantly a wonderful human being.The most successful manager we have ever seen and likely to see.
    RIP Bill... and thank you. Thank you for the memories.
    Very sad day.

    I’ve just opened this in complete shock and this is indeed very sad news.  My introduction to T&M was during the Billy Smith era and it was such a wonderful time to meet the club.  His team and management decisions took us to excellent places and Billy was such a humble and down to earth manager too.  A true voice of experience.

    Cheers Billy and the memories will always remain strong.
