Stefan's views on last night Loss
For those who could make the match yesterday, I will just say that we started well until their wingers No7 and No11 tore into our defence, striking well aimed low shots across our goal. Unfortunately, it got worse when our captain needed to leave the field due to injury.
I believe lessons will be learnt, but they must put this defeat behind them and focus on our match against Alton. Make no mistake, this is a tough league and if Tooting & Mitcham are going for promotion, they need to learn from this defeat and fast. We can only work with what we have, so let’s focus on what went wrong and how we can put it right to ensure that this doesn’t happen again. Credit to Cobham who
were deserved winners on this occasion.
