Stefan has requested I post his views on last nights match
It was imperative that 3 points was needed against Abbey Rangers to maintain a small gap between the chasing pack.
However, lack of urgency and the desire to change players when the need was there resulted in Tooting salvaging a
point if it wasn’t for two well taken goals by Jordy Ndozid.
With manager and team assistants watching, why wasn’t a change effective earlier. Our No.5 Geovanni Johnson was
struggling to make an impact alongside a team badly needing a No.9, where chances were few and far between and
we were lucky to come away with a point. On this performance and with our other teams having games in hand, I
can’t see us staying where we are unless serious thought is given in addressing our very predictable play, with too
much passing from the back with little created opportunities up front.
Seriously, I thought we were going to lose last night. Again, the opposition tested our defence with their attacking
wing play, left and right, causing issues for our defence, which was slow to react when it mattered most.
Our performance at night, at home, and under floodlights should be much better than it currently is, and I ask the
question, has our team management has lost the ability to make changes early, when it could be seen by the
watching supporter, that change was very much needed last night. So perhaps, be brave, look at your players, and
ask who wants it more. And along with Max Oldham and Antonio Simeone, you will find the answer. but they can’t
do it on their own and it’s not too late to change that desire if they want to retain their position in this competitive
league.

I agree we will struggle to get out of this league without a genuine goal scorer.
Since the departure of Shay Brennan we have relied on defenders or midfields to score the goals this will not be enough in the run in. We have a couple of young attackers who are trying there best but they need help, now is the time to recruit we must have some money in the kitty after Shays departure if not another wasted season.
Please Jamie act now.
I am a supporter of over 60 years so please help as i myself am running out if time.
