Stefan's thoughts on today's game!
o those supporters watching today, it was 3 points or bust!
And that’s exactly what happened. With confusion at the back, we conceded
three excellent goals. Game over!
With naive defending, no coordination or creative ability up front, how in the
world could we come back from three goals down. We’ll we couldn’t, conceding
a further goal in the second half but managing to score two.
When are management going to realise that without scoring goals we are not
going to win matches. The current arrangement is not working and to be
brutally honest, it hasn’t worked since we lost Shay Brennan, and maybe before!
When three points was much needed today, the team could not find the
answer against a good Fleet Town.
Personally speaking, we will be lucky to make the play offs on this performance.

The best thing about today's match was the fat boy burger cooked by Mrs Byatt. I highly recommend it.
I am given a no comment for the match itself. It was that bad I am afraid. Too many players not up to the standard we need. Pointless thinking about promotion if the squad isn't ready.
Great atmosphere at the game. The young Ultras really added to the the bogend. Heart warming to see.
I think the club is moving in the right direction. It just takes time to build a decent squad and money of course.
Next season will be better. Jamie will get there 100 percent.

Apologies to Stefan all of his comments on the first posting were not copied correctly, hopefully this is the full version.

It has to change. Management needs to work hard on those who are not fulfilling
their role. And that goes right to the top in every department.
If we are still dreaming of a playoff place, then the team needs to step up and
start scoring goals, and the forward line has a responsibility to make it happen.
Running around and chasing the ball is not the answer. Creative play and working
on set pieces may be the answer, but have the players have that in their locker.
I’m not sure and time will tell, but time is not on our side, with the chasing pack
getting larger and stronger.
Will it be the case that not investing in a forward line will mean that hard work
on the pitch has gone to waste, remaining in a division we meant to be in.
The jury is out!

Sorry I forgot to mention a player that even if your losing 1-4 you have to appreciate.
Simmo. We are so lucky to have him. He could easily play a league above. But loves the club and always is the stand out player. His left foot long range passing is amazing. He wins almost every header. A well educated player who always makes the right choice of pass. If Simmo tells you off. He has been around. Seen it got the tshirt. So to our younger players. Just listen to him and improve yourself.
We are very lucky to have him at Tooting.
