Combined Counties South League - All to play for

There are 7 teams fighting for play off positions. I have not counted Cobham as they have been promoted. What is vital is finishing second to  get home games in the play-off.  the points position today if all the challengers win their outstanding games is as follows:-

Tadley Calleva           82 points
Fleet Town                 74 points
Redhill                       74  points
Tooting & Mitcham    73 points
Horley Town              69 points
Abbey Rangers         66 points
Knaphill                     66 points

Tomorrow's game at Redhill is significant if the Terrors want to  finish 2nd in the league.
For the 7 teams in contention it would be a miracle if they won all their games!
Everything will be a little clearer after this week's games.

Re: Combined Counties South League - All to play for

Is a home playoff game that vital? Of late our away form has been great and our home form poor, even in last saturdays home victory we looked unconvincing until a few late substitutions at last gave us an attacking threat.

I think a home game preferrable but in reality its a lottery and who plays better on the day goes through.

Agree with you Andy Mc.
If Tooting win their final league game at home to  Thatcham Town  on Easter Monday that would give them a total of 73 points. and  home game in the play-off Semi - Final.

Tadley still have 4 games to play and their total has the potential to give them a total of 79 points, which would give them Opportunity to get a home game in the playoff final!
