Very frustrating. We led with a first half penalty from Frankie Sawyer following a mazy run by Nathan Gordon. But our passing was off all day, we were regularly outnumbered in midfield, and we lacked imagination going forward. Then former T&M favourite big Vern Francis equalised for W&H with a free header from a corner in injury time.

I thought that after Knock and Jelly swapped postitions in the first half we were all over them. For me it was Knock's best game of the season. We seemed to lose it in the second half after that partnership was ended with Knock being substituted. Unless he was injured I cannot understand why he was taken off.
It was indeed sad to see a goal scored by a player seemingly able to take the time to pick his spot. But, with just five minutes to go we still persist in trying to play the ball out of defence instead of punting it up the field as far as we can.

I'm afraid on this form we are not going to get into the play off's. We lost to them on their ground and only drew yesterday. No disrespect to other teams but we should be winning games like this to stand any chance of finishing in the top 5. Thank goodness we have got Frankie, again MOM. Lets hope Max will be back soon and hopefully put in a few good crosses. Must win game next Saturday.

When the final whistle blew yesterday, I just wanted find something to kick, such was my frustration. Once again, a poorly defended set piece has cost us points. I bet Vernon could not believe the amount of space he found himself in when the corner came over. Although I didn't think it was a corner in the first place. Frankie once again was magnificent. So glad he returned to us. Dan, although he worked hard, seemed to cut a frustrated figure. Might have been different if one of theose chances went in.
For me, December is going to be a season defining month, with games coming up against teams around us, starting with South Park, who have crept up onto our shirt tails, next week. So let's move on from this setback and get back on the winning trail.

Yes, another disappointing result. And another performance that has dropped a notch over the last few games. And I think the biggest problem we have right now is, that apart from Newton, this is probably our best XI, so we don't have much in reserve to come in and freshen things up. So even though Summers has stopped scoring, Pinnock has lost some of his effectiveness and some of our midfield have lost their passing radar, they will probably all start the next league game. Nkoma just hasn't done anything to earn a place this season, and I still feel that our midfield backup, like Simpson etc, aren't quite ready for a permanent 1st team place.
Whether there is a space in the 1st team squad now that Hartburn has left, I don't know. And who would we get? I would say somebody in the mould of Howard Newton, but I don't suppose there are many of them available.

This is getting frustating big time now. Once again we concede late, late on after leading for so long.
Being a Tooting and Mitcham fan should carry a government warning, supporting this club can seriously damage your health.
Maybe now that Mr Newton has served his three match ban, the scores will improve, but (and I'm trying to stay positive I promise you), can we really beat Folkstone, Faversham, Whyteleafe and South Park. Yes we beat South Park at home convincingly 4-1 and Faversham have had a few strange scores (Hastings beating them 5-1 away and Walton Casuals drawing 3-3 with them and down to ten men), but if we play as we have recently, I'm fearing no wins and possiably no points. Let's hope I'm wrong and the footbal improves along with the scores as we know this group of players are capable of beating anyone as we have already seen this season numerious times.

I was with you in the kicking something department Fretters. Very miserable indeed.
Agree with Ev. Think Knock has been Mr Consistent at centre back recently.
Although after playing a number of games there I thought he (understandably) struggled a little initially in the centre of midfield suddenly finding himself with much less time on the ball.
Then switching to 3 at the back pushed our usually marauding full backs/wing backs even further up the pitch. What engines they have.
Even saying that my first choice centre back pairing would still be Graves and Gonzales (Sorry Gary - no room there for Cheadle).
Newton returning should make a big difference. He adds so much movement to the side and is always the most obvious 'out' that the backs see when they win the ball.
I'm confident of goals tonight.

We've got one and he's called Max Noble, hopefully back sometime in the New Year, although I'm not committing myself to exactly "when"
