I see that Cockfosters beat Erith & Belvedere the other night and will therefore host the winners of our game against Erith Town.

I've just googled them, their nickname is 'Fosters'. I wonder why they didn't choose 'Cock'........must be some reason eh.
Their ground has a capacity of 1000, how on earth are they going to squeeze us all in ? They must be praying Erith beat us for logistical reasons if not football ones.
If you want another interesting fact about Cockfosters FC, ' tough ' there isn't one !

You ought to see their ground, my God, pokey isn't the word. Never mind the KNK, it makes that little kakhole down at Merstham seem like the San Siro.

I used to live up that way and honestly didn't know there was a team around there.
I would get my Non - League fix at Barnet.

The management team of Mick Roche & Fabio Valenti, along with approx. 11 players, may have left us last weekend for Edgware Town,..............................
It looks like poor old Cockfosters are undergoing turmoil at present !

A statement from Cockfosters Club Chairman Ron Syrett following a Letter in Non League PaperOn Saturday we travelled to Wembley and were beaten again, but its important to remember that we are a team that is in a state of flux. The newspaper article says 11 players, but the whole first team have gone.I was at Wembley FC for a period and for most of the time I played in the reserves due to my age and lack of experience and also because of the outstanding competition at the time meant I moved on. I will never forget the Wembley experience. Most of our young players are going through my experience again.
We will recover like the phoenix and it will be more hard than smooth, but it will be with our people and people that we as officers of the club must support. Mark has been thrown in at a very deep end and as the supporters I spoke to on Saturday said he's the right man.I echo those sentiments.I went to play for Maidenhead after Wembley ,Egham where I got player of the year ,Grays and Collier Row where we won our part of the isthmian league. But I will always remember the Wembley experience that you have a duty to treat people properly.I want Cockfosters to be that step up to our young charges and with the change in management we have a great opportunity to make all experience a positive one.
Fair play to them - they still managed to beat Erith & Belvedere

Their ground is so pokey there are probably people in the same street that don't realise there is a team there !

I notice that IF we beat Cockfosters in the Quarter Final we will go on to face either Cray Valley PM or Wingate & Finchley - so another trip to the Badgers Sports Ground (Where Erith Town play) for Cray Valley or a trip up't north to the souless concrete wastelands of West Finchley ! What an awfull ground that is ! (IMHO only of course)

Maybe I misread the draw however I thought that if we won the QF then we would have a home semi

I could think of a few words to describe Wingate & Finchley's ground. But I'm gonna stick with my first choice of S***HOLE!!!!!

Cockfosters being hosts - already had ideas there!
Many would (I imagine) use the Piccadilly line to reach this destination. From South London this isn't actually a hugely long trip - using the Victoria line from Stockwell to Finsbury Park is a fast old run! North of Finsbury things get more interesting - many excellent Turkish restaurants that way (many to choose from all the way from Manor House to Wood Green) to break up the journey - ones Plumpton recommends are Hala and Gokyuzu on Green Lanes.
To further break the trip there's a Wetherspoons a couple of mins from Southgate tube - dependant on how much time the regulars have to play with in the evening it could be a good jaunt. Mind you, we have to win tomorrow first......
