Alternative route to Erith Town FC by train

Saturday's programme suggested travelling by train to Lee. Alternative route is to take train to Mottingham via Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge. The ground is then 1 mile from Mottingham station.

Turn left out of the station onto the main road then take the first left again into Middle Park Avenue. Continue down Middle Park Ave. Eventually come to a mini roundabout.  Go straight over mini roundabout and ground on left hand side. Total distance from station 1.1 miles

And for the Wetherspoons geeks, Eltham also has the country's smallest 'Spoons ( and imho, the shitiest!), The Bankers Draft. (Sam tells me there is one in Lee too however no idea what it's like)

Re: Alternative route to Erith Town FC by train

Or, for those who want a bit of an evening out - there's the option of going to Lewisham and then going on a 15 min bus ride on routes 122 or 321.  Same from Woolwich, the 122 serves there too.

A few years ago the nearest pub would have been the Yorkshire Grey - indeed the roundabout nearby on Westhorne Avenue still has this name - but now it's a McDonalds

Hoping my cold will be a bit better - struggling through today, but I should make effort, it's an easy game to get to from Plumpton (Plumstead) on the aforementioned 122 and it is the London Senior Cup

Sol Pinnock (2) and TJ were our goalscorers at Erith Town.

No date for the Quarter Final at Cockfosters yet.

Cheers Endo, although I would substitute '' perfectly adequate '' for '' fantastic ''.
