Re: Hastings manager quits

Kenny Brown was not the problem, he was used as a stooge at his time with the Terrors. Look at the fundemental failings which surrounded the club at the time, the worst period in it's entire 125years of history, and the our LeLAughing stock of our League ague and local Fottball clubs!

Brown is now at D & R working with some really talented younsters. The Terrors our now playing third rate Football in a third rate League!

Re: Hastings manager quits

At least he stayed when the money disappeared - unlike our "captain" Ronnie something.  And all of the others (apart from Lee Hall and Stimson I think).  But he was manager when we had quite a few good players and failed to get anything from them.  And he also presided over a team which failed to field a goalkeeper, which was surely the nadir of a pretty rotten period.

Re: Hastings manager quits

Over 90 players were used during this period, and Brown did not know who would be playing from one week to  the next, his hands were completely tied. I am sure he was not Manager when we played Wealdstone without a goelkeeper. The Football club was  a shambles and in a choatic state, and we have never recoverd since,

Re: Hastings manager quits

I think you are being somewhat harsh Mikem!, i can not agree on the "third rate football"quote, what we are and have been playing since the arrival of both Craig and Adam is a breath of fresh air, and long may it continue, agree the league is not asstrong as in seasons past, but whose fault is that? certainly not the clubs.
One point i can not disagree on is the seasons since George and Billy left, up to Craig and Adam were chaotic, and frankly embarrasing to the club, we must have been a laughing stock, but thank goodness those days are long behind us.
