Exactly what the thread title says really, the wait to see who we have next in the LSC goes on.
Annoying, but there we are - hoping for a reschedule soon.

Looks like you're now addicted to the LSC Alex !

Well it is the best competition in the world, especially when you get added bonuses like a tube train journey with your good self, Bondy, Bill and the man from Barking whose name escapes me.........
I can't help thinking that this next game is a bigger hurdle than the final, looking at the other teams and the feeling I have. The old Victorian treasure could be within our grasp (and I get to relive that experience at Met Police's ground with the Terrors back in 2008)........

the man from Barking whose name escapes me.........
Derek Barclay - ex Programme Editor at Wimbledon Speedway - now Stadium Announcer at Kent Kings Speedway (Sittingbourne) - really nice bloke, known him for donkeys years, or should that be speedways years

Ah ha.....cheers DP, I can see it now, a new phrase at Tooting "not worth a Derek" ha ha ha.....*
Anyhow, the aforementioned LSC game is now on Weds 18th, 7.45 KO. We get to see who we meet in the next stage then. Nail biting stuff.
* - from Barclays Bank. Lovely bit of slang

On the other side of the draw, Casuals beat Wimbledon on pens and Harrow beat Beckenham on pens. So the other semi final is between Harrow and either Hendon or Corinthian Casuals.

Hmmm.......yes, I find this very exciting. Could we have a repeat of that glorious day in 2008 when we beat Hendon at the old bill ground.......
I shall be awaiting the result of Wednesday with much interest

Cray Valley PM beat Wingate & Finchley 2-1 so we will play them in the London Senior Cup S/F.

Cheers Andy - just got in from another evening at work, and was pondering whether to check the Cray Valley Twitter or other sites - glad I came here first
Yes, I would agree the game will be tough - I recall only too well the last time Cray Valley came to Imperial Fields. I just hope that we get the result this time!
Andy - are we likely to have a Tuesday night game (a la Cockfosters and Erith Town)? London FA indicates a 'play by' date of the 11th March.........will wait with much interest to see the fixture announced

Bloody hell Plumpton, there are rapists and thieves who get lighter sentences than that !
I was talking to young Anthony Harrold at half time on Saturday and asked him how he's getting on at school. He hates maths apparently and told me last Wednesday he had to do loads of maths homework and asked Harry if he would write all the answers down for him, Harry told him '' No Son, that would be completely wrong '' and Anthony said '' I know that Dad, but have a stab at it anyway ''
Who else can I upset ?

It would be a great reward to the management and the team, for all their efforts this season.

Well, after several vessels of strong ale would the Tooting mob's chants be decipherable anyway (!), I like the thought of an Imber Court chant, it's more endearing than Wembley (there's several advantages, it's south of the river, has a very good bar and hosts the LSC final more often than not) so this gets around the lack of twang. Need to beat Cray Valley first to get the rehearsals in gear!
