Yes, a pint of cooking oil to put his chips in

What would be an alternative if the game was called off?  I see locally there's Corinthian Casuals v Merstham, Colliers Wood United v Molesey and Epsom & Ewell v Hartley Wintney........there seems to be much going on away from South London this weekend (or we could bite the bullet and watch the old bill playing at Dog Kennel Hill - that would be a birthday to remember Fretters me old man from Del Monte).............

Well, it may not come to this, had a quick butchers at the weather and it's not as bad as it predicted when I checked earlier on today.  Our Kentish jaunt could still very much be on.

Re: Pitch inspection at Sittingbourne

In Plumpton (ok, Plumstead) it's a bit overcast, and there's signs of rain overnight but certainly no snow.  I wonder if I'm the nearest Bogend Forum-er into Kent........

According to BBC (!) it's dry in Sittingbourne at the moment - fingers crossed.
