Re: Real Football!

Now their was a real HARD man, but he never got sent off.
Billy Bremner ( he is the man with the "please don`t hit me" look) always thought he was hard until he met Dave Mackay.
You will never see his like again, current rules do not allow his tough, no compromising style of play, but boy could he play!
Also apparently a real gent off the pitch.

Re: Real Football!

Billy Bremner was the one who called the Zaire players niggers at the 1974 world cup

Dave Mackay is asking Bremner who sold him the oversized shirt. Very Tenderballs is hoping Bremner doesn't point the finger in his barrow like direction!

"The venerable Tel sold me the shirt Dave.  He said that I would grow into it."

Re: Real Football!

And all this has just reminded me of McCready's drop-kick on wee Billy in the 1970 cup final.  Now that was something to behold with not even play being stopped.  McCready played for Chelsea by the way Gary!

Bravo Eddie McCreadie, bravo !! Not that I'm old enough to remember Eddie McCreadie but anyone who Kung Fu kicks that short arsed, ginger, Jock is alright in my book.

And before you say anything, I'm a short arsed, ginger, Jock so I'm allowed to call him that.
