A very satisfying victory today against a side that are still well in the play off race. We started well and got an early goal when Summers headed in a Charles free kick. We spent most of the first half on the attack, and had their defence at sixes and sevens, and thoroughly deserved the half time lead. However, Whitstable looked a different team in the 2nd half, and had us under the cosh for the second 45. We had a stroke of luck when they had a cross that rebounded back off the bar, but by and large, despite all their pressure, we stood firm, and protected our goal pretty well.
All in all one of the more exciting games of the season. Well done to the team, and its the type of performance that we need to repeat on a more regular basis.

Tremendous battling performance today. Playing against a very physical team we stood up well, got the early goal and defended magnificently in the second half. Special mention for David Graves who held the defence together. Unable to play our normal passing game, we adapted well to an awful pitch with the ball bouncing everywhere.
Great spirit in the side - Very well done.

Another first class performance from the team, one of the many I have witnessed this season, yes their have been some lows, but on the whole I would say very entertaining, and well worth the entrance fee.
Could not single any one out of the eleven, everyman played his part and played it well.
I honestly did not think we would get anything out of this game prior to the start, least of all three points, having reached the final of the LSC, and only pride to play for you could not have blamed the lads for taking their feet off the gas but the opposite was the case. From the first whistle to the last they just did not stop trying, despite some "interesting" refereeing decisions, as for the sending off of Billy Marshall, i don`t know what the ref saw but all I saw was Billy fall over their player, not kick or foul, but the referee saw different and brandished a red card, disgraceful decision. But he was not going to spoil what was a tremendous afternoon and another one that will live in the memory for some time.
Well done to the management and the team.
One thing this season, which will be different from many which have preceeded it, will be the difficult choice of the player of the season, with so many to choose from.

Yes, got the oysters, Dee Pee, and mussels and a bowl of jellied eels, mum ate the eels when I got home and had a very satisfied look on her face afterwards.
If parking had been a littler easier I would have liked to had a walk around the harbour, quite an interesting town.
We found a nice pub with a lovely beer called "Amber Ale" very refreshing, I am sure "Andy" would have enjoyed it!
All in all, a very satisfying Saturday, don`t you just love days like yesterday.
Life could not get better.

The magic of non league football, a bit of an outing, a win, and a bit of nostalgia from the drawer too.....you don't get this with league football.....
Hoping good things, I see that our games this month are against teams lower than us in the table, picking up 12 points in March would be rather splendid, Craig and the boys are coming up with the goods of late so would be good to see this continue. We are the stripy army!
Of course wishing DP the best getting shot of his cold.....man flu exists! It's terrible......talking of rubbing it in DP, make sure you put the Vicks in the right place.......it can sting a bit.........
For the muscle pain associated with colds and other ailments, you could use your namesake - Deep Heat (yes, I know that's bad)
