Tim I have about 100 programmes dated from 1965 on. Some gems like the FA Cup 1st round v Crystal Palace in 1974 where a certain T Venables was playing (I still remember exactly where I was sitting)! I know the last time I brought some in I got the impression that you had more than enough.
Let me know if you want them otherwise I will throw them out.

GregB - whatever you do DO NOT THROW THEM OUT !
Please bring them along to Tim as they'll be a source of a lot more pages for the current programme. - which I trust you buy religiously !
Cheers - DP

I'll give you a tenner for it. If you bring it to Saturday's home game I'll be outside the bar with a bottle (or 2 ) of Peroni smoking a roll-up
Where exactly were you sitting GregB ? I vividly remember standing directly behind the goal at the Bog End. How I got to be there I will save for another thread as you seem to be a gentleman and I'll save the story for fellow scum like Dave Irons, Hackbridge Harry, Gypsy Joe and Roy Sisley only kidding Joe.

I was sitting 3rd row from the front almost on the end seat at the furthest end, the Bog End. What a queue to get tickets I seem to remember and gave up, got the chap that ran the bar, Len Robson, who I knew very well, to get me a ticket!!

Hi Greg. Always happy to take programmes from that era - although doubt I will be able to do much with them now until next season given the lack of space. Thanks

If you'd prefer Greg, you can give the programme to Tim and I'll give Tim the tenner to put into club funds, that way everyone's a winner.
I was going to Eastfields school when we played palarse in the cup. Because the game was rescheduled for a midweek afternoon the Headmaster Mr Atherton told us in assembly that anyone with a ticket for the match would be excused school that day. Apparently 12 out of 600 pupils turned up for school that day ! Why as many as 12 I've no idea

Sounds like a plan! I think a tenner is rather generous though Bog End so I'll throw in a free away scarf!

Hi! Tim, have you heard what the new away colours are going to be then?

We're not all tightwads like Harry y'know Tim.......( I can kiss goodbye to my complimentary crisps tomorrow now ) and a blue & white bar scarf would be great for me even if we do change our away colours next season.
COME ON YOU BLUES

You could always wear it down the bridge Buddy!

I think Tim could do without them at the mo, so will give them to you and you can give him what you think they are worth. I wouldn't mind the away scarf though. How does that sound?

It's a deal Greg. I'm usually outside the bar before the match. If you're not sure who I am ask Tim or one of the Old Fogey, Fuddy Duddy, Wrinkly Brigade who sit at the table nearest the bar.....they know who they are.
And more importantly....who I am

You should have told him to look for the table that has the swarm of flies around it
