I have to disagree. Wetherspoon has done wonders for those that love real ale with a great choice at very reasonable prices.

I am talking about the actual pub, not the beers available Andy. There was a good selection. The Ship, as of yesterday, was selling the beer that used to be Youngs (Bitter and Special), Directors and Tribute. It is a much nicer pub but the beer selection is not good.

Well, the last few reviews on Beer In The Evening seem ok.....
And for those of you who like big diesel engines there are some Deltic locomotives running from East Grinstead on the Bluebell Railway too......
The Wetherspoon seems nicely located to break up the trip to the ground, the route even passing a road called Sandy Lane.......a bit of everything today

I was there yesterday and although not travelling anywhere near top speed, the Deltic still is a mighty beast and well worth experiencing.
