After our marathon walk from the teetotal ground, the indominatable three found an oasis in the desert in the name of
"Tommy Flynns" Bar and Diner, good selection of real ales, undercover smoking area outside with a TV as well, never tried the food, too busy supping, but I feel this is well worth remembering for next season Andy.

Cheers Al. I certainly will. I walked past that place but it didn't look very inviting from outside. Never judge a book by it's cover I guess!🍺

Certainly, I will make my way there next season.

With Hastins and Ramsgate both winning and us beating East Grinstead, I fear there will be no return visit next season unless they can beat Whitstable and get a favour from Walton & Hersham or whoever is playing Ramsgate or they get a reprieve.

Interestingly, on the East Grinstead website, their manager considers that they are safe from relegation has he feels that only 2 teams will drop out of our division over the summer.

Double pleasant boozer. And we'd have walked there in half the time if we hadn't stopped to ask ' Squid Brains ' the way

Have a bit of respect "Cricket" he was the mayor after all.

I think you may have misheard Ashtree, I think after the dodgy directions he gave us Joe said "That bloke was a 'mare" not "That bloke was the Mayor"

I stand corrected

Dear all, I draw your attention to the "Away Days" column in the programme which gave clear directions as to where various hostelries were located in East Grinstead. The aforementioned "Tommy Flynns" was one of them - I rest my case (well, Andy's really !)
