Hendon

I am as annoyed as anyone about the LSC final dates, a complete shambles. However this is a now a very junior cup and only contested mostly by reserve and youth teams, and is not high on the Hendon radar, who have bigger fish to fry!. A Cup Final is ok and always adds  more  flavour to the end of the season. The game does not have to  be played on a neutral ground, and Tooting as been mentioned, what about Hendon who beat Casuals 5-1 at their new ground at Silver Jubilee Park!

The problem Enfield has caused is not the fault of the Isthmian League or Hendon.   Enfield are challenging the decision to  deduct points through playing an ineligible player, and has to  go to arbitration to  the FA this week and only then will the dates and fixtures be scheduled for the play offs and final. You have to look at the way the London F.Ahave handled the whole process. Not fit for purpose comes to mind!

Hendon have had a great season and must be congratulated, A team without a ground, solely run as community club, a lack of income, and only just failed to get automatic promotion. They deserve to  win the play-offs and take their place in the conference South, this a club who only a few years ago were almost of existence, Well done the fans for saving the club, and obtaining a new ground, and the management team and players for making it a bright future for everyone involved

More than a few lessons could be learnt from what this club as achieved

Re: Hendon

Fair points Mike.
However where Hendon might have treated this game lightly with bigger games to concentrate on I wonder if any postponement might led them to field a stronger side to keep everyone match fit.

Anyway, this is all conjecture and we just have to sit back, wait to be told what is to happen and see which players we have at that time.

Re: Hendon

We've got no choice Bondy but it's bloody frustrating.

Re: Hendon

My understanding is that it's held at Not Plod's ground because they don't charge the London FA for the priviledge and that the original date change was because most of the Not Plod faithful (all 10 of 'em) would be at the SSC final on the Wednesday so they wouldn't be at Imber Court to host the LSC final ! i.e. No bar and no ground staff - what a nonsense !!

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left !
