In the NLP next week (Sunday 31st May) there will be an article in the 'where are they now column' featuring T&M players from the 1958/9 season.

Greg,
I helped the Non League Paper contact the '59 players. They have also been able to trace Ray Secker, the goalkeeper making the save on our club mug. It's a shame we had no details when we arranged for the players to return for our 75th anniversary.

Chris,
It's not too late to hold another reunion for those players which are still alive, and a great opportunity to get Ray Secker included. It does not have to be a large function, and a suitable venue should be easy to find. The evening could be built around the 58 FA cup team and the 1960 team who played in a record number of cup games that season, including the match at against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

As an after thhought the 75 cup ream could be included?

Hello Mike,
The 50s, 70s and Alex Stepney evenings took months to organise and would be extremely difficult to replicate. The 75th Anniversary was an ideal occasion to celebrate and gave the players a great reason to return. Some of the players have moved away and it would be difficult to get them back. Sorry to disappoint.
When is your book coming out by the way?
