T&M have appointed Mark as full time.
Alongside his 1st team coaching duties, he will be responsible for continuing to build the football community at our club.
Mark will coordinate links between the existing club infrastructure & the community.
He will be the onsite club contact for all aspects of the football club's operation.
Mark will strengthen and embed the TM United brand and philosophy within the community and with it's partners.

So what has happened to "Frank"?

And still we don't know what Frank's position is. Any chance of a reply Andy?

Frank is still manager. Hamsey just has additional roles and is still coach.

Mark's role has simply been extended so that in addition to being Frank's first team coach he will have involvement and input into coaching at all levels of the Club as well as getting out into the local community and schools

What does he do in his spare time,Tim
Seriously though, Is this his job full time, or does he also have a day job, if he has, how will he fit it all in?
Offline
I believe that Mark is a self employed cabbie by trade so can fit his football commitments around his other work. I would also add that being "full time" doesn't mean he will be at the Club 35/40 hours a week it does mean however that he will either be at the Club or representing the Club for at least part of the day, 5 days a week, in addition to Saturdays or so I've been told anyway

Not wishing to appear cynical Tim, but i believe the only way you can do the job to the best of your ability, is to give it your full commitment, not try to segment yourself into various pieces.
I wish Mark well, but I hope this is all taken into account should the season not progress as well as is required.
What a contrast, from higher up the pyramid, guys at our level are owed our utmost respect for the time they must put in to ensure our Saturday`s entertainment.

So last season Gary, were neither Craig or Adam full time?

So with Mark working to progress the club on several fronts, full time, I understand your reason for optimism.
Thanks Gary for the info.
With the players all having full time jobs, I understand that for some, it is hard enough to get them to training, let alone community work.

We could start to save money by asking players to bring their own training kit , we could ask them to bring their own half time drinks , we could ask Mark to put all his cabbies tips in the wages pot , we could ask Frank to donate his house sale commission . All of this is of course is as laughable as as a cab driver who knows nothing about the borough going out into the community to raise funds for the club and equally laughable is for Frank to manage a non league team with a wonderful history when he has absolutely no experience playing or coaching at any decent level. Ooops i forgot he did well with the St Marys college team

With your degree of pessimism Ollifehere, is it worth you attending Imperial Fields next season of maybe humble pie is your favourite meal. I'm sure Statler & Waldorf's Teabar could warm some up for you!

Apologies chaps I suppose having been a fan for a few years not as long as some of you though there is mix of frustration. As soon as we start to get somewhere an excuse is rolled out , this time it went along the lines that the previous manager hadnt reached his target or the management team couldnt take the team any further. What would help me and maybe other fans is to get transparancy and a real understanding of
1, What are Marks coaching targets?
2. What are Marks monetary targets from the community - lets get a sponsors board up to help galvanise the community ?
3. What is Franks role and his targets?
if we had those it would help us all to understand motives and then no one would need to roll out an excuse. I honestly think we have an excellent chance next year but if the aim is promotion then there needs to be a cash injection to attract players with substance to ensure we get out of the division say £1.500k per month.
Sorry for the earlier post it wasnt meant to be nasty but ...asking players to work in the community after work seemed a little odd and if we had school teachers in the team ???? with their intelligence I think they would steer clear after last years strange change...oops nasty me

My apologies Ollifehere, at first I thought you were one of the thieving vagabonds who have attempted to trade upon our very illustrious name and reputation.
I think you will find Mr. Adkins is already making a generous cash injection already, and as I have said many times before, it is important to live within one`s means.
If you were watching most of the games last season on our budget we had a very good team, which with a bit of luck on the injury side would have finished higher up the table , just throwing money at something does not automatically make it better, or guarantee success, remember what happened to Leeds, and their are many stories such as their`s scattered in football.
PS Welcome to the forum, and mind how you go , it can become addictive

I can promise everyone that a lot is going on behind the scenes and that a number of people are trying their best to get things in place for the new season.
Keep the faith....
