I purchased a ticket for the 50/50 draw at last night's game but never heard the number of the winning ticket announced.....anyone ?
Little surprise in the fact I bought my ticket from Sam and it got me thinking that there really ought to be a more even distribution of the work done by the supporters at the club, I know there are lots of people who already help out but seeing Sam with her already heavy workload selling 50/50 tickets really pricked my conscience and made me think her time would be better spent baking rock cakes.......As a result of much soul searching I have decided to volunteer Alanj to sell the tickets at the Farnborough game on Saturday, let's face it all he does is sit on his a*se drinking beer and pontificate about all things Tooting & Mitcham.
Good Luck Al

That is very considerate of you buddy to put me forward for such a prestigious , hopefully a profitable position, but unfortunately family commitments mean I can not attend ( grandsons fourth birthday) I did suggest to the boss that I could arrive just after five but that went down like a lead zeppelin ( for those younger supporters, this was an hellium filled air ballon used over London during the war, and also pre-war as passenger carrying) as you can appreciate wishing to still pee from the same part of my body is something I would like to maintain, rather than waking up to find it staring at me on my pillow, so I am afraid I will have to say no.

This will cheer you up no end Alan, the winning ticket at yesterday's game v Farnborough was 184.
You've got one guess who won
I'll give you a clue..........Shaven-headed, bespectacled, heavily tattooed, mild-mannered, big friend of Gypsy Joe, jammy git, heavy drinker and smoker
Got it in one Mate !!!
To compound the issue, Steve and Anthony had ticket number 183. Like you say Al....some you win, some you lose Laugh ? I almost bought my own beer.
There's no justice in this world, is there ?
