Something of interest (even to BEU)
Included in this months CAMRA What's Brewing is the quarterly Beer magazine. In this magazine our bar is praised for the real ale on offer. Copyright laws probably forbid me in copying this article and it's not available on line but the article compares the likes of Man City and T&M, his 2 teams he supports. It goes on to say that non league and real ale go well together, sorry BEU. He mentions our great club several times and to say that when he visits he always enjoys a good pint.
Oh how I am looking forward to Walton Casuals on Saturday
. A beer or 2 before the match is a must, so maybe I can sleep through it!

Perhaps the article would be of even more interest to the gentleman I was talking to in the bar before Tuesdays game 
The gentleman in question asked me to promise not to mention the fact he was swigging Peroni straight from the bottle, a promise I didn't feel I could make 
Being a real ale fan himself I think he felt rather embarrased. I shall however keep his identity under my hat provided he doesn't spell my surname incorrectly again in Saturdays programme. Just the one R in Harold mate, Harry, Anthony and myself aren't related. Should he get it wrong again I may just feel compelled to spill the beans. 
What's that my lager drinking friend ? Saturday's programme has already been printed

It is a really nice article. I picked up an extra copy of the Beer magazine from the Great British Beer Festival at Olympia today and will bring it to tomorrow's match. The article might be worth framing and displaying in the club bar, if that would be possible.
