On paper we look to have little chance of getting anything this afternoon. But although our last 4 games have been defeats, we have not been heavily beaten in them. One of the problems seems to be if we go behind we lack the belief or determination to get back into the game. So the first goal could be vital, If we score first and defend well, our confidence will grow and there could be a shock on the cards. But if we concede first, I think another defeat is likely.

A draw today would have lifted the spirits of all those that care about Toots. Not to be and even more disheartening when other struggling clubs did well in the main !

Thought we actually played very well yesterday. Ok another defeat but the team showed great spirit and looked absolutely gutted at the end. To come from two down to then miss a penalty to go ahead. Basingstoke are a very good side but to act like they'd won the Champions League at the end of the game is probably a huge compliment to Tooting. Interesting bunch of intellectuals they brought behind the goal too.
