Brian Bennett who was in the 1959 team v Forest has sadly passed away.

Just heard this sad news. One of our very finest and a tremendous guy.

I know that Ian Bullock and Chris Jackson have prepared tributes which I'll share on the website when I'm back in blighty.

I have been in contact with Brian's son, Tony. He may be able to attend the match v Spelthorne Sports on the 23rd.
He really is appreciative of the tribute to his father on the club website and is going to read this at the funeral.

Who was fortunate enough to see his heading duels with Eddie Reynolds of Wimbledon?

I was fortunate enough to see the epic duels between them there was no better headers of a ball in the amateur game at that time.
