Hi DP

I am a  very, very, very, very and probably another very occasional contributor to this forum, although I read it regularly.  

I am greatly saddened by the demise of this once great football club which I have supported since the mid 1950s and which I follow from afar each Saturday on the Isthmian League web site...when I remember it's Saturday.  

I was a member of the Members club in the Martin Hazelwood days but gave it up as meetings were too regularly cancelled after I had flown in from Ireland where I have lived for nearly 20 years. I know that as a Member you have given your time and effort stoically to get the club back to where it once was, which is what all the Members want, although it might not always be apparent to everyone. 

I want  to thank you for all you have done for TMU over the years and wish you the best of luck in your new  home.

My brain hurts...

I was around then too; that was the year my Dad started taking me out to Sandy Lane but I have no memory of anything about it. My memories really start with my still hero Paddy Hasty and I am not sure he was around quite then...maybe.
I'd love to help but sadly my memory isn't too good for that.
I remember being incarceratedx in Wandle Valley hospital for a month that year as that was totally traumatic but I hadn't yet caught the incurable Toooting and Mitcham bug...but that was soon to follow.
Here's to a great finale to the season!

You pretty much sum my every T&MU match day here in Dubai. Live Ryman scores on my iPhone. Real nerve wracking stuff just sat unmoving  for almost two hours staring at the phone. I even sit there watching half time to finish.
This weekend was particularly bad as the first goal came so late. 'C'mon Tooting...c'mon Tooting..!' How many times do I say that on my own each game? At least watching the game there is something or someone to shout at not just my stupid self!
Here's hoping.

Yeah, I just heard it on Listen Again. An interesting hour. First time I have heard Frank and was impressed.

Seriously, though, I am still so excited at the win. I keep telling people here in Dubai about it...but they all seem a tad underwhelmed. Can't think why. Champions of London after all!!!
