After the “we were robbed in 59” history for those who remember , what would the phrase be now? Another massive defeat yesterday makes me think of comments not allowed on this forum I’m afraid ! Still optimism for next seasons exciting fixtures? “Good times a coming” !

I agree evthedog when you look at my last comment! Guess I was trying to escape the tag of being one of the “doom merchants” !

The potential of one day, Michail  Antonio progressing into the voyage of training/management plus plus, let’s say starting with Toots offers a glimmer of hope and excitement. Guess we can dream on !

It seems mid table give or take either way is the likely position Toots will find themselves in at the end of this season and level of football ! Can anything change for the better? 

A good test today for Toots to see if their recent positive form continues a rise up the league table and “play offs” contenders ?!

Hi Mikem, believe me like many others I feel the pain. Not because I could have watched some decent Toots football with admission or a season ticket at concessions rate, even some cup runs, Tuesday night fixtures to look forward to etc etc Perhaps coming away from the ground happy of an excellent result against clubs much higher in the football pyramid, but all that seems so far away. I shall dream on for better times !

Crikey it’s the “season of goodwill” but not for Toots it would seem! Surely it must be too early to think of relegation AGAIN !!!? Oh the memories of Christmas past to coin a phrase !

According to Sky sports commentary today , West Ham v Chelsea, it was 15 years ago that Michail Antonio scored for Toots and today  Michail scored a scorcher for the Hammers !  Still cannot help thinking the differences in success and failure when comparing the pathways of Antonio and Toots !!!

I fear so much damage has been done over a number of years but appreciate the optimism in certain quarters. Time and results and hopefully positive changes to the club and for the supporters will be the test! 

Well done to these committed fans going to Jersey despite all the pain and emotion over the past several years. Onwards and better times to come.
