Sadly this is another season over before the end of September. Out both the majoe cups, 5 defeats already in the league will make automatic promotion alomost impossible - with a play off place the only hope.

I am not laying blame on anyone, but IF owner wants things to get better changes have to be made somewhere.

Could not agree more Andy - I thought the team looked decent and well organised. It was just a shame no team line up was announced so we would know who was who!
I do worry about Coleman and his discipline (or lack thereof!), silly booking in a friendly last night was not a good sign of things to come.
Shame about the state of the ground. God only knows what the green slim that is growing around the urinals at the back of the stand is, but fully expect a WHO exclusion zone placed around it soon. Can’t some of the Balham groundshare cash be spend on simple things like that?

May be with Penfold and Gonslaves in the set up there was no room for Hams? IMO its a shame as he is a good coach and gave a lot to the club.

Not harsh or weird at all. How many Tooting fans will travel on a Tuesday evening? Also I bet only a handful will be late, most fans from Tooting get their early for drinks etc. His not helping any one, accept himself. Just self promotion! Mind you he may right as I expect thousands of Tooting fans will descend on Farnham as they are having a great season in grassroots football. For Farnham the season is over, they have just returned from Jersey and have nothing to play for!

Personally, I found the information very useful, especially about the parking as I drive and would not know where to park. Thanks RogerD.

Roger D, you don't to  tell any Tooting fans how and what time to  get to  a ground. Why don't you "Rock off"

Bit harsh - they guy is trying to do a favour by giving advice.

On our day yes - Especially if the Farnham players have just been paid as the weight of thier wallets will slow them down considerably

Nothing good about Saturday.
Poor performanace on a poor quality 4G pitch in what reminded me of a prisioner of war camp, with high sided fences all round.
Anyone notice Sheerwater couldn't even spell Tooting on the board outside the ground? Totting!!!!!
Can't say we were made very welcome either - especially compared to Abbey just a few weeks ago!
Questionable behaviour by the Sheerwater defender that got Mario sent off. And as for the Lino, a total clown.
The only good thing was the final whistle.
Not going to rush back - hopefully Colliers Wood will win the games in hand and Sheerwater go down..

Didn't go but noticed 3 more goals for Shay Brennan. The only class player we have, at this rate he is going to get way over 30 league goals in his debut season for us. Has anyone else done this. Paul Vines, Nigel Webb maybe?

I think that John Hastings banged in 30+ goals in his first season.  Correct me if I am wrong: was it the season where he knocked in 6 against Ashford?

I think John Daubney also got well over 30 in his only season back in the early 80's

CCL website doesn't even have our game at Balham listed on that date anymore

Guess the club has forgotten to tell us, or they haven’t realised themselves!!!

According to the fixtures we are meant to be at Balham on the 2nd December, however AFC Croydon Ath are at home to Abbey Rangers at the same time. Presume our game will need to be rearranged? Who knows the CCL might actually put out the rest of the seasons fixtures at the same time!!!!!!!

withFurther to discussions with our new manager, Jamie Byatt, and the Members Club, we have decided that given the change in our League and the general financial situation in the UK that is would be a welcome opportunity to reduce our current admission prices for the forthcoming season.

As a result Adult admission prices will be reduced to £8 for all home games this season, including the pre-season friendly against Dulwich Hamlet.

Adult Season Tickets have also been reduced to £128. Concessionary prices are £5 and U18's will receive free admission.

Do please contact the Members Club via (tmufc@tmunited.org?subject=Match%20Day%20Experience if there is anything you feel could enhance the matchday experience for you.
really looking forward the start of the season and hopefully making up lost ground

Kind regards

To confirm the announcement - The ref had stopped the game to allow Sam Nabbad to take on fluids because he has been fasting during Ramadan. There was a reported racist comment from and Ashford "Supporter" behind the goal directed at Sam / his religion, sadly the ignorant person could not be identified. The announcement was to warn that anyone using this language will be removed from the ground.
It's a shame the ref didn't tell anyone about this planned stoppage before the game.
It had nothing to do with any anti Adkins banners.
