EV all at sea on your Great reply. Seems this particular ship should disappear in the "Bermuda Triangle." I don't think Woolley has any mates from true Tooting fans, After what he has achieved as First Mate!
Remember this statement back in 2005
The Challenge is to make Tooting & Mitcham United FC the best semi-professional club in the land, one built on sound foundations and good practice in all matters!

Hi Eve and Steptoe
Perhaps you should have used the word "Bitter". The scrap metal yard is the only thing which can be salvaged by Atkins.
As for a FA Cup run, does that mean the famous Terrors can go through the extra preliminary round to the preliminary round!!!!!!!?????

Hi Bernie, there are plenty of local derbies in the Wimbledon and District League for Park Football, including Rosslyn Park Football Club! This should please Atkins who is an avid rugby fan, and in his own words played for "Rosslyn Park Rugby billions of years ago in his youth"!

Hi Son of Steptoe, where Tooting finish in this totally appalling league is totally irrelevant. Even the second div of the isthmian league is just as poor. The future is not bright due to the way the Football Club is set up.

Hi Ev, Just completed a small amount 0f research after reading the Balham Website. I haven't got the will power or the inclination or even the enthusiasm to go any further. Balham advertised the recent game as the tenants the Landlord's. I have discovered it should read Tenants V' Tenants. It seems Balham have taken over Imperial Fields. I think Jamie is being taken for a fool, he should resign now, There has been a re-structuring of the facility.
What else has changed

Corinthian-Casuals 0-0 Tooting & Mitcham United
Combined Counties Premier Division South
Saturday 14 December 2024
Report: Josh Lamey. Images: Stuart Tree
“On another day it could’ve been three or four,” lamented Matt Kellett-Smith following yesterday’s respectable goalless draw against ex-Casual Jamie Byatt’s Tooting & Mitcham United.
On an afternoon of familiar faces, Byatt and his in-form Terrors side came to King George’s Field looking to propel themselves up the table after a rich vein of form in which they have gone six games unbeaten.
It has been the opposite story for Corinthian-Casuals, after the frustration of defeat to Guildford here on Tuesday night. Jersey and Fleet have also successfully left Tolworth with points in one way or another lately, and this was another tough test for Mu Maan’s men as two friends became rivals for another 90 minutes. A crowd of 310 showed the popularity of this fixture between two grand old non-league clubs.
Casuals winger Trey Masikini had the first opportunity to make his mark on the contest on the 10-minute mark, when his nimble footwork saw him glide between defenders on the edge of the area. All that was left to do was wrap one into the top corner, but his effort sailed the wrong side of the post. A start of speed and purpose from the hosts.
Masikini’s early intricacies were matched down the other end just moments later. A floater played in from the Tooting right seemed to hang in the sky forever, until Darra Wopara’s acrobatic bicycle attempt was grasped by Sami Nabbad. One for the cameras, perhaps, but not far off giving his side a spectacular lead.
[color=#626a71]Reyon Dillon will be a name cemented into the minds of every Tooting defender thanks to his decisive double back in August, and he was a mere inch away from crafting another sucker punch against the Stripes. Dillon won a footrace with

So sad to read about Michail Antonio’s Horrific accident in Epping today (Saturday). He was taken to hospital in central London and is conscious and communicating, and has a suspected broke leg. His car a Ferrari was a total wreck and Michail had to be released by the fire brigade. When you see the damage, you wonder how he got out alive. I recall he had another accident around Christmas time again when he crashed his car in Balham.
Michail a teenager was discovered by Billy Smith and he soon promoted him to the Tooting's first team. I remember him playing the Terrors in most of his appearances, he was soon spotted by Reading, and signed professional forms and moved on to play for some notable Premiership clubs ending up at West Ham where her plays today and is an absolute hero for the fans. He also played for England and Jamaica.
Now 34, Michail may be out for a long time, and hopefully it will not be the end of his playing career? Along with Paddy Hasty he was a Terror Icon. Michail and his family will be going through a tough time at the moment, and I wish him a speedy recovery to full fitness.

Hard-Fought Draw for Knappers in Rain-Soaked EncounterJames Carpenter24 Nov
Resilient Knaphill hold firm to secure a clean sheet in torrential conditionsKnaphill went into the match looking to end a run of five straight defeats. Against a tough Tooting & Mitcham side and in challenging conditions of heavy wind and rain, the Knappers put in a hard-working and resilient performance to secure a valuable point and a clean sheet.First Half
Knaphill had the game’s first real opportunity in the 12th minute. Jason Vincent did well in laying off a pass to Jack Watts, who made an impressive run from deep. Watts struck the ball cleanly from the right-hand side, but his effort flew wide from the left post. Tooting nearly took the lead in the 41st minute through Conor Melody. Breaking down the left, Melody unleashed a powerful strike from the corner of the box. His effort rattled the stanchion before rebounding clear to Knaphill’s relief.Knaphill’s defensive unit, led by Michak Stanic Stewart and James Glover, ensured that goalkeeper Sam Gray remained largely untroubled for the rest of the half.
Second Half Knaphill continued to handle the testing conditions admirably, maintaining their structure while looking for openings on the counter. In the 56th minute, Jack Watts was cautioned after a 50/50 challenge that the referee deemed worthy of a booking. The first Knaphill substitution came in the 65th minute as Justin Thompson debuted, replacing Kingsley Anokye and slotting in on the left wing.Knaphill came close again in the 75th minute when a free kick from deep by Matt Copland fell perfectly to Jason Vincent in the box. Vincent struck the ball well, but his effort went just over the bar, much to the relief of the Tooting defence.Just a minute later, Knaphill had their best chance of the game. A misplaced pass from Tooting goalkeeper Toby McKimm went straight to Vincent, who charged toward the goal. McKimm came rushing

Chipstead ultimately came away with no points to show for their efforts in their latest match in the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division South at Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday afternoon, but, for the first 80 minutes, they were well in the gameThey started well enough - Ronaldo Flowers attacked inside left, but the danger was snuffed out, & the home keeper then saved from Luke CookCook curled another shot just wide of the post, & then it was Melford Simpson’s turn to be just past the targetEmmanuel Robe forged his way inside-right into the box, before aiming a left-foot shot, but it was straight at the keeperMeanwhile Joe Hall made a vital challenge at the back to blunt a home attack, before Rhys Paul got down well to abort another oneAaron Lamont found himself the furthest man forward in one attack, but the keeper blocked his path, while a Tooting defender soon lost the ball in the box, but Simpson couldn't shoot on target on the turnYoung Chips keeper Tayo Edun saved well with his feet, as a home forward bore down on his goal, & it remained 0-0 at the break.
Edun was again involved from the restart, saving the first shot from an attack down the right, but the rebound was turned in by the no. 7 to give T&M a 1-0 leadFlowers attacked, seeking an equaliser, but put his shot wide, while Edun bravely pushed a header away at close range at the other endChipstead's cause wasn't helped, as sub Adam Aziz received a straight red card for a high challenge, although fellow sub Tijani Eshilokun appeared to have been fouled seconds before, but nothing was given Edun got down well to save from a free-kick just outside the box, before Paul just couldn't get on the end of a long cross, as he tried to get his side back into the match.

Full Match Report: Penalty Gives City Victory Over Tooting for Second Time in Two Weeks 7 Oct, 2024
Guildford City (1) 2, Tooting &; Mitcham United (1)1
By Barry Underwood
For the second time in two weeks Guildford City overcame Tooting and Mitcham in a tight and hard-fought encounter. As in the FA Vase match there was only one goal between the teams. But City were impressive throughout, both defensively and in attack, and they deserved to take the three points.Guildford went ahead in just the second minute. Rueben Duncan played a quickly taken free-kick into into Darnell Jon-Peter’s path and the striker did well to shoot inside the near post. Six minites late Hussein Siklawi shot over the bar for the visitor’s first effort on goal. Prompted by a lively Manny Acheampong, Guildford looked dangerous on the attack throughout the first period.Ben Gambrah saw a shot deflected for a corner following Jon-Peter’s delightful flick. But against the run of play City conceded an equaliser. An ambitious pass deep in City’s half was intercepted and former City player Max Oldham ran through to shoot low past Jacob Terry. The game opened up mid-half. Darnell Jon-Peter saw a shot tipped round the post on 24 minutes, whilst a minute later a second Tooting goal seemed inevitable and was only prevented by stalwart defending and Jacob Terry twice saving brilliantly from very close range.A further minute on and Reece Robins set up Manny Acheampong but his shot was tipped round by Toby McKimm. In the half’s final moments Darnell pulled a cross back across the box but Acheampong’s shot was blocked.
The second period started with Tooting seeing more of the ball. There was though stalemate for the third quarter of the game with few chances at

I read from the Guildford FC match report they refer to Tooting as "The Esteemed Visitors". All of that went down the pan in 2005, and confirmed by the esteemed goffer Mr confidential Woolley,, in his forum messages when he confirmed their was no place for the history of this once great club! Well the way the team is heading there may not be any history left.
It's amazing what clubs in CCL think of our team, these junior clubs must be rubbing their hands together with the privilege of playing and beating Tooting! Little do they know!!!!!!!!!!!
These clubs have more going for them than the wreckage of Tooting.
The immortal words published after the takeover
Since 2005: Quote “The challenge is to make Tooting & Mitcham United FC the best semi-professional club in the land, one built on sound foundations of good practice in all matters!! (You can’t make this up lol)
Also,When Steptoe and Sons (Not the forum Steptoe) tried to take the club over, they made a video for social media announcing they would be in the Football league by 2017. The video was swiftly withdrawn lol.
This is all beyond a nasty joke now.

=10ptby Barry Underwood=7.5ptGuildford
City advanced to the next stage of the Isuzu FA Vase with an impressive
performance against esteemed visitors Tooting & Mitcham United. It was an
intriguing match up between two sides who for periods cancelled each other out. City were working hard off
the ball and pressing their opponents into errors. The first chance came on 16 minutes.
Alex Rodway-Brown chipped the ball back into the box where Alex Stingelin mistimed his header and the ball
glanced just wide. The visitors first attack saw a run into space on the right and a low cross zipped across the
box. On 35 minutes Leevi Bassett’s cross into the box from the left was just too high for Malachai Cole.
The first corner of the match didn’t come until the 37th minute which gives an indication of the prompting nd probing largely taking place in the centre third. Just prior to the interval Guildford had some joy down the flanks. Reece Robins cut inside and saw a shot saved by Toby McKimm in the visitor’sgoal. Then from a cross Rodway-Brown flicked a header on and Robins netted but from an offside position.
=10pt =7.5ptIn the second period Guildford were noticeably looking to get the ball into the box from wide positions.
Just two minutes in Ben Gambrah’s cross was headed over by Leevi Bassett as he fell backward. A minute later
a snapshot from Tooting’s Ashley Sheppard nearly caught Jacob Terry unawares, but the City keeper parried the
powerful effort and gathered it again via the inside of the post. On 58 minutes, 12 goals of firepower was
added from the bench in the form of Manny Acheampong and Darnell Jon-Peter. Just after the hour Jon-Peter
and Aaron Smith-Joseph for Tooting exchanged long range efforts that cleared the crossbar. Jon-Peter then saw an effort saved at the near post. The deadlock was broken on 75 minutes. From a long ball forward Darnell Jon-Peter s

Yes, that’s right—our third consecutive victory, and third clean sheet, was secured at Imperial Fields, the home of Tooting and Mitcham Football Club, on Saturday, 14th September. It was a thoroughly deserved win, and the 2-0 scoreline could easily have been more emphatic with a bit more luck in front of goal.It was a pleasure to catch up with Jamie ‘Busy’ Byatt and Alex Penfold, both instrumental in our promotion from Step 6 to Step 5 in 2023. They are now managing at Tooting, with Jamie as the manager and Alex as his assistant. We took to the field with one change in defence: the absent Callum Wilson was replaced by Stefan Aiwone. A respectable crowd of 177 turned up to watch the game. The first half was played largely in Tooting’s half, and but for a couple of outstanding saves from their goalkeeper, we would have taken the lead. The half ended 0-0.The deadlock didn’t last long in the second half. Ali Fofahan struck a sensational shot from the edge of the penalty area, which flew into the net, leaving the Tooting goalkeeper with no chance. It was a perfectly executed strike that surprised everyone in the ground, but it was no more than we deserved. Epsom 1-0 up.Shortly after, we doubled our lead. Carl Oblitey was on hand to head home following some chaotic ‘ping-pong football’ after Tooting failed to clear a corner. Again, it was nothing less than we deserved. Despite further chances to extend our lead, we were unable to add to the scoreline, but the match ended in a solid 2-0 win. This result moves us up to 14th in the table as we begin to look upwards rather than over our shoulders. It was a fantastic victory, but we can’t rest on our laurels as we prepare to face high-flying Knaphill on Tuesday evening at King George’s Field, with a 7:45 pm kick-off. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible as we continue our climb up the table.

Tooting & Mitcham 1-2 Corinthian-Casuals
Combined Counties Premier Division South
Saturday 31 August
Report: Josh Lamey
Images: Stuart Tree (full set of photos here)
Captain Reyon Dillon was instrumental once again, as Mu Maan’s high-flying Casuals triumphed on opposition soil for the third successive time.
In a week when Oasis reunited, Maan continued to get the band back together at Corinthian-Casuals, with the highly anticipated return of icon Kieron Cadogan adding to the ensemble of former players back at the club as we looked to orchestrate another masterclass on the road.
It wasn’t exactly half the world away, as Casuals made the short trip east to Imperial Fields in fine voice, knowing another victory could see them take a leap up the league table. Tooting & Mitcham sat inside the top five heading into the clash, but despite it being early days in the season, every point matters.
It was a supersonic start to the contest as Cadogan’s perfectly executed pass found Dillon who took it in his stride and slotted into the bottom corner with ease, getting the game rocking n’ rolling in the best possible fashion.
Some might say that away form has been an issue for some Casuals teams of the past, however this new-look side seems to be really coming into their own on the road so far. The dominance continued as Diogo Da Silva let fly from 30 yards but to no avail in front of the travelling away support. Little by little, we were getting closer.
It looked for all the world that the pink-and-chocolate army were going to double their advantage, and Cadogan was at the heart of most attacking moves with spells of tricky footwork and intelligent hold up play as we sought a second. The former Crystal Palace academy talent was in the thick of it again, as a smart turn and strike stung the gloves of Toby McKimm in the Stripes’ net.
In the end, Maan’s first-half masterplan worke

Knaphill FC's Challenge Falls Short as Tooting & Mitcham United FC Secure 3-0 Victory
Knaphill FC faced a challenging match against Tooting & Mitcham United FC, ultimately falling short in a game where the visitors capitalised on their chances to secure a 3-0 victory.
First Half:
The game began with an early setback for Knaphill FC in the 5th minute when Tooting & Mitcham's Antonio Simeone scored with a free header at the far post from a well-taken corner, giving the visitors an early lead.
Tooting & Mitcham continued to apply pressure, and in the 29th minute, Sam Orisatoki capitalised on a chaotic sequence in the Knaphill box. After the ball pinged around the area, it bounced to Orisatoki, who volleyed it into the bottom left corner to double the lead.
Tooting & Mitcham's Maxwell Oldham was instrumental in controlling the game from midfield, orchestrating attacks and keeping the pressure on Knaphill.
Knaphill had a golden opportunity to pull one back in the 44th minute when Rahman Ajibola broke into the area. Still, Tooting's goalkeeper, Matt McKimm, made a crucial save, getting down quickly to deny Ajibola in a one-on-one situation.
Half-Time: Knaphill FC 0-2 Tooting & Mitcham United FC
Second Half:
Knaphill FC made two changes at halftime to try and turn the game around. Ben Mitchell came on for Jack Watts, adding more firepower up front, while Jack Carrod replaced Alex McLean. In the 51st minute, Ben Mitchell almost made an immediate impact, going close to pulling one back, but his shot drifted just wide of the right post.
Knaphill continued to push for a goal, making additional substitutions in the 60th minute. David Orisatoki came on to replace Blessing Hombessa on the right wing, and in the 67th minute, Fabio Kwako Szepan-Afele replaced Michak Stanic-Stewart.
Tooting & Mitcham nearly extended their lead in the 71st minute when a strike hit the post from the right-hand side. In the 76th minute, Franc Pegny came on for Ross Cheek, and in the 82nd minute,
