It is so soul destroying seeing your team deteriorate to now the laughing stock of the league. Remembering the good old days when Billy Smith was manager ( I only go back to the mid 2000s) and things looking promising to now this. It wasn't that long ago Tooting were playing and matching Sutton, Carshalton, Kingstonians and of course the arch enemy of Dulwich. The hierarchy seem to be to Tooting, what a burst water pipe is to the water board. Having not been to a game for a couple of years now, I don't think I'll be returning any time soon.

Wouldn't Whyleleafe be deemed one of the bottom two though?.

Is it only three teams that are relegated?.

If so with Whyteleafe expunged from the table and Staines and Chalfort below us (at the moment), does that mean we are fourth from bottom and currently safe?.

Without tempting fate it looks to be a decent start to the season. I believe we have conceded the least number of goals in the league and with there being some surprising results from our rivals recently who knows.

What a great away win last night, we seem to play better away from home than at imperial fields.

I really have to make more of an effort to get to games having only been to two this season.

The only trouble is they were against Hanwell and Chipstead so better not jinx it Saturday.

Keep the winning run going come on TOOTING!

Certainly agree if a half decent team for this level of football can be sorted, the line up of teams could certainly give as a chance of immediate return to the premier division. I don't want to under estimate these teams I don't know a lot about some of them, but they certainly seem average judging by the finishing last season barring one or two. Looking at this positively, if we returned into division one south as was expected, there is six or seven consistent promotion contenders (Hastings, Hythe, Greenwich, Cray, plus either of the Casuals) and the usual one or two surprises making promotion difficult.

It's also annoying that Burgess Hill beat us home and away. If only we could have drawn one of them, if not both. I do remember the home game was a 90th+ minute header from a corner.

Let's hope Harrow used up all there goals last night for the week, but resume banging them in last day of the season and that Burgess Hill are completely cream crackered after three games in six days. Let us also hope, pray and do whatever else is needed to hope Tooting play like last Saturday only this time score a few with a clean sheet.

Looking at the fixtures for Saturday, I wasn't expecting much against a resurgent Worthing and with Lowerstoft losing all there good players, a Burgess Hill win was very much on the cards. I believe Burgess Hill play Merstham on Wednesday (COME ON MERSTHAM) and then, like as have some touch games coming up. So come on everyone, let's keep believing. Let's keep praying and hope there is someone up there or even the good lord himself who wants to play subbuteo with the Tooting team and it being in our favour.

A nice gesture and let's hope Dulwich survive so that if we survive relegation, we can smash them next season assuming of course they don't get promoted.

As much as they are the arch rivals and are hated, we shouldn't want them to go bust otherwise there will be no more grudge matches, no big attendance's when we play each other and we won't have the chance insert revenge on them beating us home and away. I want them to survive so we can smash them. It's just like Arsenal against Tottenham, bitter hatred, but to both survive, not get relegated so that Arsenal (at some point in the future) can demolish the scum, I MEAN spurs.

To be fair, I didn't really expect anything from a team in the top ten and who beat Billericay. Burgess Hill Town, Harlow Town and Worthing all lost which was good. Let's hope Enfield Town do as a favour on Tuesday and beat Burgess Hill.

Didn't Lowestoft beat us 5-2 at home, or though saying that didn't they also give a 3-1 lead away against Wingate and Finchley. Which Tooting and Mitcham will turn up?.

Come on chaps, let's not argue, bicker and throw insults at each over. We all support the same team, want the team to do well and ultimately win and succeed, in this case to avoid relegation. Most persons on here have been supporting the terrors for a lot longer than myself and from the way certain entry's are written there clearly is pride and passion for this club. But surely there is an improvement from five years ago, but yes it hasn't quite gone to plan or expectation this season. If you look at the three other teams promoted from last season, they are not a huge distance away from as so we are all struggling to settle in this better league. It would have been nice to have signed a couple more players with experience at this league, but the budget probably can't stretch to this, saying that, I don't believe we have the lowest budget in the league. What we need to do though is unite, get behind the team and hopefully we will survive this season and make progress for next season. We will have our ups and downs, but like Huddersfield Town in premiership, you will get destroyed by the better teams, but if you can challenge with the lesser teams, who knows.

That has to be the best game I have seen for a while. The team looked good, three super goals and eventhough I was nervous to the end the defence held. A very enjoyable game and a deserved three points.
A question to the top brass, have you considered a just giving page. I try to get to as many games as I can each season,  but it is usually about a dozen at the most. If we do particularly good and I miss  it like the Thurrock game,  I may be willing to donate the attendance fee and hopefully others will follow suit raising some much needed funds, just a thought.

I don't think next weeks game will bear much fruit, Billericay away, but after that maybe see some points and hopefully Worthing will continue there dire start.
