I could not resist to rise my turdy little self from under my geological home today however. Oh how it must pain you all to see to the Toots win! Didn't a youngster score the winner too!

I will politely decline your request to meet Danny boy. I value my life too highly to risk meeting a man of your nature.

Also, I don't work in finance!

How ironic you come from the dead on the eve of Halloween. From various reports I heard Tooting were lucky to come away with the 3 points. This is from various reports let's not paper over the cracks. Fundamental problems at this club changing the chairman won't help because the puppet taking over will take orders from Adkins anyway. Let's see what happens when we play teams from the top half of the table. Too many lies from the hierarchy talking about an improved squad and bigger budget etc etc where are they? We're worse than last season and we got lucky then....

Delusional probably the physio Bruno who piped up as he come around the pitch. We've been here a lot longer than the management. Fans make the club and a lot are leaving in their droves walk the plank and do us all a favour before tooting walk the plank into the combined counties

I would have liked to have attended but giving people 1 day notice is not great! Any chance of more notice next time?

The Barmy Bog End Army » Fans Forum » 13/9/2019 5:43 am

Would be good if we got more than 2 weeks notice next time. Not a dig just constructive criticism.

The Barmy Bog End Army » Couple more signings » 21/6/2019 5:59 pm

From the Facebook page

Let's start the weekend with some more player announcements! With Hady Ghandour as the only striker named so far its time to add to our fire power.

So first off, let's give a big Campus Society Stadium welcome to another new face coming in and that's former Staines Town and Ashford Town striker, Nebay Haile.

Joining him are five returnees. Firstly are the experienced trio of Dan Summers, David Carty (pictured) and Omari Hibbert (pictured). Dan and David both came to the Terrors at the back end of last season, neither of them with the benefit of much game time under their belts. Hopefully with a full pre-season behind them they'll both be able to show us what we know they can do. Omari was with us at the start of last season but missed large chunks of it through injury and illness. Again though, when he returned towards the end of the season he showed us glimpses of what we know he's capable of.

And we can also throw into the mix, two of our younger strikers who both featured in the first team at the start of last season, Shamal Edwards (pictured) and Razzaq Coleman. Razzaq featured regularly in our double winning U23 side and also gained plenty of senior experience while also playing for Southern Counties East Premier Division side Erith Town. Shamal Edwards was also one of the stars of our U23 side last season, and amazingly still finished the season as the Division's top goalscorer despite not playing a single game during the final 12 weeks while he too was getting plenty of senior experience on loan Erith Town.

More announcements still to come

Think that was the same one that claimed one of the consolation prizes in the bar

Admittidly he finally changed the system after 8 or 9 games which shows some stubbornness to not have changed before when clearly things were going wrong. I hope he proves me wrong it's a learning curve for him but his stubborness not to change certain things needs to go but time will tell with the next few games which won't be easy but momentum is a good thing! Maybe the outrage of  the supporters at half time at Egham has given them some motivation as well

Let's hope the management team have a plan b next Saturday of things start to go wrong!

The management have adapted our tactics and system  already this season so think they shown they can learn and respond. Hanwell are a good side, and although rebuilding is still inevitably work in progress I think there is a lot to be quietly optimistic about.

It’s a fine judgement getting the blend of youth and experience right, but it does look about right now and with Daryl Coleman available again after suspension then that should be another boost.

Ashley is out of his depth unfortunately 3 wins out of 3 is good but we can't compete with the top teams in this league! Who are unfortunately not outstanding! First half against Egham was the worst I've seen for years! I want the team to do ad well as possible but under his regime it won't happen!

An observation from a few behind the goal was that no one was running in behind Bassett for both of the penalties but players were just stood on the half way line like it was a foregone conclusion? Surely the manager should be shouting for the players to run in. No he was sat in the dug out like he did for most of the first half with minimal communication  to the players! If we was playing a better team we would have been 5 or 6 down in the first half! Far from convincing today!

Not quite the same playing in some discomfort when you are winning.

No comparisons with the title winning season then. We had minimal injuries that season except for Bassett's injury

I know there is a lot of talk about the youth experiment, but just 18 months ago we were in the middle of a 14 game winning streak with a team that included SPB, Rowe, Wedgeworth, Dines, Clements, Dunn and Wilson.  So its not like we are just playing a youth team every week.

Those players are another 18 months older. Don't think I've seen a game with all them players on the pitch at the same time this season!

As long as he could sign players I don't see why he wouldn't. Be didn't leave on bad terms or anything

I heard a rumor that the weekly budget is £700 (though to be corrected on that with a higher figure would most welcome). Not much to play around with.

£700 a week no wonder we've not got any players
