I'm always nervous before a game!!! And I'm not even going tonight. I'll be busy watching the tumbleweed at South Wimbledon. But I'll also be keeping an eye on proceedings by way of that vidiprinter thingy!!!

COME ON TOOTING!!!!

What a day!!! Great place, great beer and a great result. We are just playing with so much confidence at present. Dixon was unplayable. His hold up play is fantastic. The only thing that was missing from his performance was a goal. I would have taken a scrappy 1-0, but this was just a fantastic early birthday present for me.

Another big game coming up at Cray on Wednesday. The pitch at Hayes Lane isn't the best, but then again neither was the pitch at Lewes.

Must say this about Lewes though. My favourite away day. Always a nice friendly welcoming club.

A satisfactory afternoons work by the lads today. Thought the two wingers, Clements and Hoban were excellent. Bit of a blow when Charlie limped off early in the second half, but McLaren came on and looked assured. Good to see Billy back and he looked sharp when he came on for the the last 15 minutes or so. Dixon really looks the real deal in my opinion. Terrific strength shown by him to outmuscle two big centre halves to score the first goal. Couldn't really fault anyone again. A solid all round team performance.

Next up, a big test down at Lewes, for me and many of the bog end choir, one of the best away trips. Couldn't ask for a better away trip for my birthday game.

Molesey v Hythe has bitten the dust. Hardly surprising really. Perhaps more surprising, Three Bridges v a Greenwich appears to still be on.

If you continue to turn up at more games other than LSC games, we may have to consider stop calling you LSC Alex!!!

There are several 'people' ( I use the term loosely ) who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the cameras.

Well, I was pondering this earlier, but refrained from posting (in case anyone left out - which would be most people really - could get the hump), but as you've let the cat out the bag Boggie, here goes:

Tooting Tim (well, he is Tooting Tim)
Fretters (encyclopedic knowledge)
Bog End Ultra (entertainment)

Obviously loads of people would be excellent (as stated Roger, Geoff plus DP, Bondy, John Simpson and a while host of others) but if you demanded three names on the spot that's what I would come out with (well, did, that was my reaction earlier).  Agree entirely about being concerned about who DOESN'T end up on there..........

 Encyclopedic knowledge???? Me???

I'd put Rob down for that!!! He has much more knowledge than me, Plumpy dear boy!!!

No excuses really!!! Pitch is heavy apparently. But according to the forecast, its dry and sunny there at the moment and it forecast to stay dry for the rest of the day and into the evening.

Will not be at all impressed if it's called off again!!!

Just checked the forecast for the next two days in the Herne Bay area. It's forecast to be dry all day tomorrow, but Saturday is forecast to be a washout. A far cry from the only other time I went there, when we prevailed by a single goal on a scorching mid August afternoon (think it was Forzoni's first game in charge). Hope their pitch drains well!!! Don't want a wasted Saturday afternoon!!!

See you at Herne on Saturday then !  (If I feel as good as you must do by now)

No, I'm officially still ill.  The fact that I commented on Geoff maybe having the golden goal (47) and then immediately afterwards asking "what end are we at for the penalties" says it all.  Completely out of it still, thought it was a 0-0 draw even though I'd just said about the golden goal

Mind you, at least that's better than the LSC game a few years ago where I had such a good drink I had to look online the next day to find out the score, and I was actually there......

Plumpy dear boy. Let me enlighten you with this one. As soon as the final blew, you made for the exit. Don't think you knew what the score was. After we won the penalty shootout (think it was against Croydon) I phoned you to let you know we'd won. You were just getting on the tube at Morden (you must have got a bus straight away) You were totally unaware the game went to penalties.

So proud of the boys!!!! The most gutsiest performance I have seen from a Tooting side in the 24 years I have been watching the black and white army!!!!

This is bloody typical!!! I have a week off work this week. I looked at the fixtures and see that I can make three games during that period. Two of them have bitten the dust. Just praying for an improvement in the weather between now and Saturday!!!

Oh, and I can't make the rescheduled game next week now!!!! Just my luck!!!

He was supposed to join myself, Statto, Rob and Simon in Maidstone for their match against Torquay. Unfortunately he didn't arrive in Maidstone until 1455 and was scouring the town looking for sustenance, by which time it was too late to join us in the ground. But he did join us after the game as we descended on the fabulous Flower Pot pub for a few beverages.

Greenwich only win with an 88th min goal.
Carshalton get a late goal but then lose the 3 points to a 90th min equaliser!

Yet another amazing set of results.
I have been concentrating on the matches between the top teams but banana skins seem to lurk in every game if teams don't go out 100% concentrated.

Do South Park (5-1 winners over Walton C today) still fancy a tilt with all those games in hand?

I was one of at least 5 Terrors who turned up at Three Bridges today.
No sign.  Nothing open.   And certainly no rain or pools of standing water.  I looked.
Called off early to prevent fans travelling long distances?  I don't think so.
Poor.

Too late to take in any other game and Saracens v Exeter not on in any local pub.
Very miserable Saturday.

That really is poor form. It seemed as if it was the only game called off in all three divisions.  Very frustrating.

Myself and a few more of the Bog End faithful descended upon The Radius Arms before watching Whyteleafe sweep aside our Tuesday night opponents Hythe Town 3-0. Hythe looked very ordinary in my opinion. Means nothing though. Can't imagine Hythe will be as bad as they were here!!!!

What a celebration. Not that I saw much of it. There I was rushing in to join in, but Mr Carmody went tumbling over in front of me and I managed to trip over the prostrate Billy Boy and ended up on the deck myself!!! Unperturbed we both quickly dusted ourselves down to join in what was left of the celebration.

Manic scenes!!!!

Got to say that as bad as we were, I was mightily impressed by Hastings. Definitely the best team I've seen us play this season. Will be amazed if they're not in the shake up come the end of the season. I believe the Man of the Match award may be carried over. Rather worrying really as I'm a part of the adjudicating panel for the next home game against Whyteleafe on New Years Eve!!!

Some crunch games coming up over the festive period. With the top four all dropping points, its starting to tighten up at the top.

Thoroughly well deserved award too!!!

Think the team performance award applies to one particular match. Wroxham won the award for the North Division and they're bottom!!!

Incredible set of results - for us that is.

If I don't get the full sized Maggie Thatcher blow up rubber doll I have asked for I will still think it has been a good Xmas.
